We had to find someone to help us move out of Aberdeen and we are glad to find Maxi removals down to the wire. We emailed and received a prompt response, the date we needed wasn't available but thankfully they offer their services on a weekend!
We were unable to find a date to do a survey/visit to receive a price quote, but thankfully they allowed videos we took ourselves.
Aberdeen to Central Belt set us back (£960); they were professional and helped us move from a top floor flat with no lift! The 3x lads who helped us move out of our old flat and into our new one didn't say very much but we really appreciated all their help.
Everything arrived safely and in one piece!

On the moving day, they arrived with a small truck that could only accommodate small items. This triggered a series of problems, including unresponsive managers and last-minute changes. The assessor, who had given the initial quote, informed us we needed an additional van, costing £550 more from original £1400 +. Despite his prior assessment of our two-bedroom flat, he left us with no choice but to agree due to our immediate need to vacate the apartment.
Additionally, during the delivery, they charged us £55 for carpet protectors, something we could have purchased cheaply on Amazon.
Overall, it felt like a scam. I hope this review helps others negotiate better and avoid such pitfalls during their move.
