83Upon delivery, my bags were broken and three bags had grown wings. I got only 9 bags out of 12. This was in September, and till today, it’s been stories upon stories.
The claims department asked for pictures of missing. I let them know I couldn’t remember all I had in the bag as I sent a lot of things. I sent pictures of 21 clothing items I remembered, but again, they asked for receipts for price evidence!
I was so angry cos I categorically stated that these were used personal items, some of which I bought years ago. Now it’s almost winter and I still don’t have my bags of warm clothing! I’m so hurt
They took 21 weeks to ship my possessions from UK to Thailand, clearly their storage is not environmentally controlled as everything arrived covered in a black furry mould with some items damaged beyond repair.
It took the threat of legal action to get them to put my items onto a ship. The owner [Name removed by Sirelo] seems incapable of telling the truth, he claimed the delay was due to my asking to stop the shipment, something I cancelled within 24 hours. The Operations Manager categorically told me my request was not the cause of the delay as they took no action. I then wrote to [Name removed by Sirelo] and asked him to provide any evidence of any communication to his shipping agent, strangely he didn’t respond and subsequently did not respond to any communication.
They were not the cheapest and I feel a fool to be taken in by their grand claims of performance and customer service/ communication which in reality is non existent.
Sadly I did not read the reviews of many previous customers many of whom describe major frustrations with Deliver 1
Their agent in Thailand Allied were excellent however they took some convincing that my items were collected in the UK on 4th June and not delivered until 26th October.

The initial communication was very good. The organization of the pick-up of goods was efficient and well-handled.
Issues Encountered:
Unexpected Charges: Upon arrival in Qatar, I was informed of additional customs charges and storage fees. This was surprising as I was under the impression that 'door-to-door' included all such fees.
Shipping Delay: The items were sent from the UK one week later than initially advised, causing additional inconvenience and disruption to my plans.
Lack of Communication: The company changed the job from a prepaid one to a DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) without informing me. This led to unexpected costs and significant inconvenience.
Unresponsive Customer Support: Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, including two detailed emails, I have received no response from their customer support team.
Additional Costs Incurred: Due to the lack of response from the company, I had to pay extra storage fees at the airport. On top of my initial bill, I ended up paying an extra £692.
This experience has caused me significant inconvenience and financial burden. I urge Deliver1 to improve their communication and clarify their service terms to avoid misleading other customers.Read more

We sincerely apologise for the situation that led to this review.
The additional costs were explained at the time, as the measurements and weights provided during booking were significantly lower than what we collected. With air freight, increased volume results in higher costs.
Regarding the missing bags, we deeply regret the loss caused by the handling agent. As this is ultimately our responsibility, we have refunded you the standard liability amount along with an additional goodwill gesture for the inconvenience.
