I called around a lot of places as I have had damage in the past. I was extremely clear that I wanted everything wrapped. Shortly before I was told only limited pieces and the job cancelled on me. As my move was 18th December a very busy spell, I had to agree to proceed on this basis.
The guys were good on the day and professional but one was 2 days on the job.
During unpacking a commotion in the bedroom and I have 2 large scratches to the brand new wooden floor plus a large scratch to a high gloss chest of drawers.
I have made 3 attempts to contact Dave and sent pictures and I’m so far ignored.
I can’t repair the floor as it would need sanding and revarnishing but I do expect someone to repair as best as possible the high gloss chest of drawers which is German and expensive.
Funnily enough Dave responded after this review asking me to get quotes, which I did. Only to be told I took too long (20 days) and he’s closed the file.
I took advice from the ombudsman he notes on his website who suggested court action. I explained I would go this, to which he said he’d refer to his insurers. Still nothing more than a month later and 2 chases.
This man is unethical and will not take responsibility for his actions. Avoid unless you want a lot of hassle and damage.Read more

I would highly recommend ABC Removals, they helped us with a house move of over 150 miles. Dave and the team came and packed up our belongings on Wednesday but noticing I was pregnant offered to leave the bed and sofa out for us to use that evening. Then on Thursday morning (day of completion) they packed the final few bits and travelled to our new house, and Friday they unpacked and reassembled the furniture (incredibly quickly I might add!) All four guys were extremely pleasant, helpful and considerate and they did a great job packing everything up carefully and making sure everything went smoothly for us. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I have used ABC in High Wycombe twice now for moving house and each time they have been superb.
My recent move was handled expertly and efficiently. I had so much else to deal with/worry about on the day that seeing the team of guys getting on with the job was so reassuring. It was a four-bed house move and there were six guys, which made it incredibly fast.
Nothing was too much trouble and they worked like trojans to get it all done, even helping the person of the house we were moving into as she hadn't finished getting her stuff out!
Superb.

Andy and the team moved us this week. They were friendly and professional. They arrived on time. They loaded and unloaded everything carefully. Everything arrived in one piece. The price was similar to other quotes. Would recommend them as they helped make the move easy and were pleasant on the day.

The quote was reasonable (not the cheapest). Whilst I had asked for unpacking to be included, it was missed off the quote and I had overlooked it which made the price less attractive.
The crew arrived promptly on both days and were professional and friendly. Everything seemed to be packed well and carefully and my household furniture and personal belongings went into store. When I finally had a moving in date I contacted them for delivery and had to wait 2 weeks which was longer than anticipated.
Delivery went well but was slightly chaotic and boxes were put into the wrong rooms, which was irritating. My furniture, crockery, glassware, figurines and collectibles had been packed well in lots of paper and arrived unscathed with a minority exception. However my clothing that had been on shelves or drawers were another matter, they had been thrown into boxes without any care and arrived crushed and crumpled.
Insurance claims have to be made in 7 days, and I am still unpacking so hopefully won’t find any damages!Read more

Highly Recommend ABC Removals and Storage. We have used them twice in 3 years and they were exceptional both times. They are price competitive, efficient, zero damages and every single person we dealt with was friendly and fun which made a stressful situation so much better. I hope not to have to move again soon but if I do I will certainly be using Dave and his team. Epic Delivery!
