My Smooth Moves in 2019, and starting a house removals company wasn’t the driving passion. The hospitality industry was. We were just exceptionally good at doing removals. In February 2019, Alistair had the idea to leverage the expertise as a removal man and combine it with his hospitality industry enthusiasm. Alistair and his team were brilliant. They turned up on time moving all my items very carefully. I felt stressed approaching the move but Alistair took charge and calmy explained the steps to me. Boxes were placed in the assigned rooms and areas in my new property.
I don't intend moving any time soon but if I do it will be Alistair and his team that will undertake the move for me.

Alistair and his entire team have been extremely professional. They made the whole process much smoother and far less stressful. Their coordination was excellent, and everything went smoothly on the day—no pun intended.

I also reached out to Alistair’s team for additional work around the house, including further disassembly of furniture, and they were more than happy to accommodate. I couldn’t recommend him and his team more.

These guys are clearly on a mission. Basically, they know how tough and stressful moving house can be... And they've worked hard to address every single problem and anxiety that may be encountered along the line: and have a perfect solution!

Customer service is also fantastic: from direct, clear communication with Alistair (the boss) all the way through to the team itself being energetic, experienced, highly skilled - and all with a smile and nod of reassurance.

If you're worried about one of the most stressful times of your life- moving house - do yourself a huge favour and get in touch with these gentlemen: you'll be in safe hands.

Alistair and his team has done a such fantastic job for us! I was really worried about my fish tank and Alistair has helped me move it the day before and it all went really well. The actual moving day was just stressless for us, they took care of everything. His team is so organised and at the same time very joyful to be around. Thank you, Alistair, Will, Sunny and David. We used My Smooth Moves to both pack our belongings and move them to our new house (over 2 days) in Jan 2025. Alistair and team were efficient, knowledgeable and in great spirits throughout. They really made the whole move completely stress free for us because of their professionalism. And it was great to see how much they seemed to enjoy the job.
Prior to completion date the communication from Alistair was top-notch, and his flexibility on supporting moving date made a very frustrating exchange process all the more easier. We would have no hesitation in recommending My Smooth Moves to anyone, and we will definitely use them again when the time comes.

Five star service from the team at My Smooth Moves. I would recommend them to anyone moving in the area!

Due to some unfortunate mortgage expiration dates, I had to move all of my flat in to storage and then onward at a subsequent date. Alistair recommended a cheap storage unit nearby and arranged both moves, which went seamlessly.

The team on both moves were absolutely fantastic, packing up the flat carefully, quickly and better than I could ever have done.
