I recently used C&G for my move from Yorkshire to Belfast, and I'm so glad I did. I researched many removal companies, locally and nationally, and not only were C&G the most competitive cost wise, but it was clear that this was a family run business who really care about service and reputation.
Most of the companies I contacted sent me a quote without coming out (using a questionnaire to work out approximate van space - which worried me as it relies entirely on me listing everything that's moving) A couple of other companies came by the house, had a quick walk round and sent me a quote. Naz's approach was so much more personalised. I explained I would be doing the packing (C&G actually offer a packing service which I would 100% take next time!) and so Naz described in detail as we walked round the house how I could best pack things and gave me other tips on what I need to do to be ready. His advice proved invaluable leading up to moving day, but it also became really clear just how experienced him and his team were and I knew I would be able to trust them to do a great job when it came to the move.
Unlike other quotes which just listed my items, lorry space and a cost, the email which came from Laura the following day was detailed and personalised, and added that extra level of confidence that Naz & team knew exactly what they were doing on the day.
In-between the time between Naz's survey and the move I had a panicky moment where I wasn't sure my furniture was going to fit in the vans. Naz came back to the house; took a fresh look at the boxes I had packed since we last spoke and reassured me that we were covered. He was exactly right. In the couple of days leading up to the move, Naz and Laura were on hand to answer any questions and offering reassurance that I was in safe hands
The move to Belfast added an extra consideration around moving of goods and taxes. A couple of the other business quoted me a high price for certain permits, but again C&G's knowledge shone through as it turned out these weren't necessary. My move ended up being short notice with a small completion window, but Laura had already worked out the best ferry crossings to take and how to ensure I wouldn't need to pay for a two day move. Believe it or not, C&G got me moved over to Belfast, with their vans back in Yorkshire, within a day!
When the lorries arrived in Belfast there was a delay with the completion, but Naz and team worked their magic and managed to get our furniture moved into the house with the vendors agreement.
Moving house is incredibly stressful, especially moving overseas, and C&G made the whole process infinitely less so. I honestly can't recommend them highly enough, and when the time comes to return to England, they will be the only movers I would trust!Read more
As promised used them again for a house move and was even better than what I remembered. Cannot fault them at all. This time remembered to get a pic of how well they loaded the van.

Recently used C&G Removals for our house move and have to say what an A Team. From start to finish Naz and the team were amazing. Showing real care and consideration for my things and really friendly bunch. Definitely recommend and will use again.
