Used a few times, they're reliable but shady and lack any kind of empathy with the difficult situation of a house move. Lied about being fully booked for weeks, presumably to pressure you into booking, then amazingly they're free all week when you pencil a date in. Exorbitant charges when completion dates change unexpectedly or when keys are delayed should you not realise you need to purchase the key waiver. Make sure you read the small print.

Just like to say thank you to John and Luke for making our move from Suffolk to Hampshire go seamlessly. They both worked so hard both days of move on which were two very hot days. Thank you both. I would certainly recommend Glasswells.

The Glasswells team that moved us, Chris, Luke, Connor and Lee were brilliant. They were very professional and overcame all the issues, including the rain, with ease. A great bunch of guys. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again. However nothing personal lads, but we won’t be repeating the house moving process any time soon. No reflection on Glasswells…… just the whole process involved !

All dealings with Glasswells before the move were First Class. The packing and moving teams were also excellent ... we could not have expected a better service. The packing and moving teams were friendly whilst still being very professional and efficient in their work. As stressful and testing packing and moving home can be, we can, without hesitation, say it was the best moving home experience we have ever had.

Glasswells are an excellent company to use for your removal needs, I needed an urgent quote within minutes and Andrew was outstanding, obtained/sent it to me straightaway. The quote itself was extremely reasonable for my needs. The removal team themselves, again, super guys, they worked efficiently and effectively & got the job done, especially in the soaring heat, thank you again for your help lads!! highly recommend to use them for any future needs.

Understanding Glasswells to be a local, reputable business we contracted them for our removal & storage. If you are considering booking Glasswells, please make sure you read the small print, even damage caused by their own negligence is not adequately covered and their poor response & lack of customer care is appalling! Two items were badly damaged. The first when it was initially placed in storage. We were not informed until the item was due to be delivered 10 months later & it had been sent for unapproved repair! The second, was dropped and damaged on delivery even though the team were asked to be careful as it was very heavy. Both items have sadly been unnecessarily damaged & devalued. The unapproved repair is shocking & although they have offered to repair the other item, it has been significantly devalued & we will never get that back now. We have spent the last seven months dealing with their insurers and have given up. Although their policy maybe industry standard they should change it! Glasswells should not be intrusted to move your precious belongings & they need to seriously step up when they make a mistake. Customer care matters.Read more
