Highly recommended - Dave and his team were excellent, including coping with some last minute changes to what was needed to be moved into storage. Great value, including the storage, which was accessible 24/7.

We moved across County Durham yesterday and cannot praise our removal crew enough. From contacting David to get a quote all the way to moving in all went swimmingly. Our buyers and us agreed to book Emmott and Son for completion day. They arrived with two vehicles and plenty of manpower. There was clear leadership and coordination and a good spirit and sense of humour within the team. All were polite and respectful to us and the property. Very patient when we had to wait hours to get the keys released. Thank you for making our move a success.

Just moved house today, well actually I didn't move the contents of my house, it was all down to dave and his amazing team. The guys who are my super hero's today, did an absolute amazing job. Very professional, very experienced, very efficient. The guys were so helpful, and always smiling and happy. What was the most stressful day I have ever experienced, was eased, all down to Emmott & Sons. Thanks very much. 10/10 service.

We have used this company a few times & can’t fault the service we’ve received,
David is always on hand for any requests & enquiries.
A great team who work hard & carefully delivered our furniture for us, also very pleasant guys & actually seem to really enjoy their job a real credit to the company.
Would definitely recommend to friends & family.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to you David Emmott co., especially George and Neil for making our move as smooth as possible. They were both extremely hardworking and kept us sane throughout the day. They took control and made the usually fairly stressful process of moving a much more manageable task. They took great care of all our belongings and remained professional, calm and in a good spirit all through the day. I couldn’t thank them enough! I would very happily recommend Emmott and Son Removals to others.

Really glad to have been recommended this company by another professional (who didn't have any availability at the time). I've been through quite a difficult personal situation which required moving at short notice. I packed up my home and desperately tried to find someone who could move all my belongings from one end of the country to the other (and also store it for a few days) while I made my way there to sign my rental agreement. Called Dave after speaking to two other professionals (who were busy during that time frame). Explained my situation to Dave and he said he could help (even though it was extremely short notice). I think I spoke to him on the Wednesday and the van came to pick my things on the Friday. They held onto everything over the weekend and then one of their drivers (Ian) drove down and met me at my new place early on Tuesday morning. After having to deal with such a stressful situation in my personal life - it was really lovely receiving such good service from Dave, Ian and his team. I was so stressed about everything going on in my life and they made my move that much easier from start to finish. All his staff were friendly and professional.
