Rhys and Jay were excellent, couldn’t have wished for more. Arrived early, very friendly and professional, packed up everything quickly and efficiently doing everything with a smile. When we arrived at the new house, they unpacked everything very quickly put everything in the right rooms and put back furniture perfectly. Thank you so much for making the move stress free

We moved from Croydon to Hertfordshire, after being in the same house for 25 years.
We had quite a lot of delicate furniture, glass and crockery, in addition to our ‘ordinary’ belongings. We shortlisted four firms; we chose F Smith & Son both because they were prepared to take the necessary time to pack and move our things, and because of their reputation. They exceeded our expectations and the higher quote compared to others was totally justified.
We are happy to recommend them and would definitely choose them again!

Moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do, but F Smith & Son made the process easy and stress-free. From the initial phone call to the last box through the door, everyone was professional, friendly and just got it all right. Special thanks to Dave and the moving team, who clearly enjoy their job and made everything a breeze. They were so careful with our stuff that two fragile glasses we accidentally left in a cupboard survived the journey upright and intact - incredible. I can’t recommend highly enough!

We used F Smith & Son to move two one bedroom flats in London to a new flat in Brighton so was quite anxious about logistics of this move. The booking team and surveyor were both efficient and helpful and made it easy to plan. The teams arrived at both properties on time and were again very efficient in packing up all the furniture etc and transporting to new property. It was all unloaded well ahead of my estimate. There were quite a few stairs involved at both ends and the teams carried this task out with a smile and friendly nature. Highly recommend and definitely use again.

The team at F Smith are incredible. From Steve’s first visit to assess the job and to everyone who answered our calls and emails in the office who were so friendly, calm and professional.
We had a ‘3 day move’ with packing, loading, transporting & unloading at our new home. Bradley, Archie & Reece worked like dynamos, nothing was too much trouble and nothing damaged.

I couldn't be happier with the service from F Smith & Son. The estimator was very friendly and made me feel he understood my needs and that the company wanted to provide us the best service. I had many queries as this was an international move, and all I got was a patient and friendly attitude, and everyone did everything they could to ensure I understood the requirements. The move itself was smooth with a crew equally friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend F Smith & Son. Making you feel listened to and cared for in stressful times like this is worth everything. I had decided from the moment the estimator came that I would use their services, but they also came up cheaper than the competitors I had contacted, so it was a win/win all the way for me!
