They operate an old scam whereby they up the price on the day of removal, in my case by 300%. Knowing you have no other choice but to pay as you need to move. If you ask to cancel they say they will keep the deposit.
Excuses for upping the price ranged from more steps to more stuff. Despite having photos.

Not presented with a contract prior to their arrival
We were not informed that we would be charged yard to yard pricing
Used our possessions as leverage and wouldn’t unload until payment (double their quote was paid)
Caused damage to internal walls and muck on the mattress despite us protecting it with a transport cover
Also late to arrive at our property

I work a doctor and had to move after a night shift, the moving company JoJo removals have made me think twice hiring a cheap company over more professional companies with good reputations.
They were:
Unprofessional
They presented a new contract on day, which I was forced to agree with as I had to move out that day
Movers physically were not up to job and incredibly slow, I had to help in order to meet deadline of move out
They ignored the meticulous advice given when handling microwave, one mover tried to lift on own and tripped, after being pre-warned of a step, breaking microwave
One mover had D+V and ruined my new bathroom toilet, and did not clean up after himself
Movers were unable to move sofa into flat door so refused, I had to step in and had to show them how to do this, this was extremely frustrating for me as I they were not experienced enough to this on their own.
Complaint was ignored by owner of company
Has ended up costing me more than the actual move for replacing microwave and my own labourRead more

Im very happy with jojo removals. It was a great experience with the jojo team. The removal staff were fast and professional in packing and moving. The price was competitive and service was excellent.
