Horrendous & unprofessional service and extremely over priced
Job not done !!!
6 hours work and left me stranded and not fully moved !!!
I contracted derby removals previous week with pictures of what they had to move
Vans used were not adequate to do the job, however Derby removals said they would be acceptable to do the job that he entered into contract to do the job.
With his larger vehicle being off the road I stated on 3 occasions that the vehicles being used will not be up for the job
I was Just ignored !!
I paid the removals company just under £1000 to move me into my new property
The removal company left me stranded at my new home at 2 pm with 40% of my Home in my previous property
Derby removals wanted a further £500 to move me on Sunday to complete the move
I find this unacceptable as they left Me at 2pm and their working day finishes at 5pm !!!
As a result I’ve had to try and find a van to move my outstanding belongings into my new home with a tight time frame

With the added stress, I’ve had to go into hospital to be checked over for a suspected heart attack due to stress

Wayne and his team were spot on for our move. Daz and Scott were really great and helpful. They met the challenge of using the smaller cheaper vehicle and got it all in! Punctual and communicated brilliantly. Would highly recommend!

I used Derby Removals & Storage Ltd for my move last month. Wayne and his team are punctual, polite and professional. From the first contact Wayne put me at ease during a stressful time. I had the packing service which was professionally done and worth every penny. On the day the team arrived when they said they would and my belongings were carefully packed into the van. There was no rush and no stress. Unfortunately, I didn't get my keys to my new property until 3.30 pm but the boys waited patiently at my new home and when I finally got there with the keys they just got on with it, never complaining. I am very happy with my moving experience with this company and would not hesitate to recommend them.

We had a great experience with Wayne and his team. They came with one big lorry and one smaller van. They had enough space, and there was 4 men. They were quick efficient, and friendly. They also had the tools to get the job done safely. They put all furniture in correct rooms and they were on time and got the job completed on time. We had a great experience and we would recommend.

Wayne and his team moved us today and we highly recommend them. They worked so hard all day. In addition to the usual household items we had loads of garden items including some very heavy plants and nothing was too much trouble. All of the team were good fun, really polite and friendly and regularly checked in that all was okay and asked where we wanted items that weren’t labelled. We’d highly recommend them. Thanks lads, you were amazing!
