We used Derby Removals on 21st February 25. Wayne came to see us a couple of weeks before to assess what we needed. We needed two vehicles, the large removal lorry and a large van for all our garden pots trees ornaments and contents from three sheds. All I can say is thank you to the team ,they did a great job, from dismantling king size Otterton bed ,taking doors off American fridge freezer and putting all back together at the other end. They were great ,fast and efficient, all helped on with tea and coffee.
At the other end they just as good ,putting everything thing in the correct rooms , my 8 year old granson was eager to help with the small boxes ,they were great with him and thanked him for his help ,and they all chipped in and gave him £15 ,he loved it ,he had a massive smile on his face ,he wanted to help his gramps and nana move into there new home. Thanks guys you were all great and made a stressful days go so easy .

We used Derby Removals & Storage Ltd for our move in January. Wayne and his team, Nick and Daz, are punctual, polite and professional. From the first contact, Wayne was quick to respond, helping us plan a stress free move. He visited us in person to provide a detailed, bespoke quote, explaining the services Derby Removals & Storage Ltd provide.
We had the packing service, which we found to be professional and efficient. It was a big help and weight off our minds, as we were moving just after Christmas. On the moving day, the team arrived punctually, and our belongings were carefully packed into the vans.
The team arrived at our new house quickly and unloaded our belongings very carefully into our new house. Nothing was too much trouble, like reassembling beds and furniture. We are very happy with our moving experience with Derby Removals & Storage Ltd and would highly recommend them.

We had a move to a challenging location Wayne listened to our explanation and was happy to do the move.It was understood that the van would not be able to get to the door of the property. The boys Daz and Nick were able to unload the big items and wheel them up a steep hill to the property. This came as a huge relief to us, we would have found the whole move very stressful if they were unable to provide this level of service. I want to thank the whole company for their service and willingness to take on this move.

Wayne and his team did my house move, they were really flexible with enabling a last minute request, turned up on time , friendly team and loaded all our boxes and furniture safely. They then unpacked them where we need in the new place. Great service!

Horrendous & unprofessional service and extremely over priced
Job not done !!!
6 hours work and left me stranded and not fully moved !!!
I contracted derby removals previous week with pictures of what they had to move
Vans used were not adequate to do the job, however Derby removals said they would be acceptable to do the job that he entered into contract to do the job.
With his larger vehicle being off the road I stated on 3 occasions that the vehicles being used will not be up for the job
I was Just ignored !!
I paid the removals company just under £1000 to move me into my new property
The removal company left me stranded at my new home at 2 pm with 40% of my Home in my previous property
Derby removals wanted a further £500 to move me on Sunday to complete the move
I find this unacceptable as they left Me at 2pm and their working day finishes at 5pm !!!
As a result I’ve had to try and find a van to move my outstanding belongings into my new home with a tight time frame

Broken legs and damaged stripping
This is not what I expected
With the added stress, I’ve had to go into hospital to be checked over for a suspected heart attack due to stress
I am completely unsatisfied and I feel I have been made a full ofRead more

Wayne and his team were spot on for our move. Daz and Scott were really great and helpful. They met the challenge of using the smaller cheaper vehicle and got it all in! Punctual and communicated brilliantly. Would highly recommend!
