I recently used Sussex Removals for both packing and removal services, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish, their professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding.
Phil, the owner, personally visited our home for an in-depth walk-through assessment rather than relying on a phone conversation like many other companies. His trained eye caught everything, giving me confidence that we were in safe hands.
They packed our belongings on a Sunday while we were away, and we returned to a perfectly organized house, ready for the move the next day. They even left us with just the essentials—a mattress and a few breakfast items—so we could comfortably manage the final night without stress.
On moving day, Phil and his team arrived as early as possible, and when one team member was unexpectedly unavailable due to illness, Phil quickly found a replacement within an hour. This kind of adaptability and dedication is rare and highly commendable.
The loading process was fast but careful, with every item handled with attention and respect. When unloading at the new house, the team made sure every single box and piece of furniture was placed in the correct room, saving us time and energy during the unpacking process.
Their dismantling and rebuilding service was equally impeccable. After nearly 12 hours of hard work, the team left us with a home that was nearly move-in ready. Despite the long day, there wasn’t a single complaint or sign of fatigue from Phil and his crew.

Phil and his team moved over all the plant pots and plants from our garden to our new home - this was no easy feat - there were approx 130 pots - some huge and heavy - Phil orchestrated everything with care and attention and him and his team did an incredible job - it was two tough days work - another removal company had refused to assist with the planters - Phil and his team were excellent - cheerful throughout and so easy to work with - reasonably priced. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys 👍🏼
