They first turned up at the wrong property, luckily someone was home to tell them the correct address. They were updated with the correct address - after looking through the paperwork left by the delivery men, they had both addresses on the paperwork (it was only updated on one delivery slip/ check list and not the other - so miscommunication there...)
Secondly, they requested help to assemble a piece of furniture. You would think naturally that this would be at the point of delivery. However, Dolphin Movers decided to build it in the warehouse to 'save time'. It was unpacked in the warehouse (all protective packaging removed) and forced together (the instructions were not in English). The original plan was to tell them how to do it upon arrival. So at this point it was damaged from guesswork of how to put it together, next it was put back into the truck for delivery WITHOUT any packaging and of course further damage was incurred during the transit. It did not fit through the door (who would have thought!) so they had to take it apart in order to get it into the property (so much time saved!).
By this point you can understand how frustrated my friend was and raised this with the delivery guys and they just didn't want to know and leave as soon as possible, said they weren't involved in building it but just to deliver (that isn't the problem whether they were or not). Their attitude was to question us and asked for photographic evidence that it wasn't already scratched up and damaged in the first place.
This has been reported to the original company used and hopefully something can be done, but reading others reviews of this company it seems like reporting/ complaining directly to them won't get you anywhere so I'd recommend to STAY AWAY from them!Read more

Reported the damage when picking up, but obviously have been told that it already arrived like that - the usual story.
