We're not sure if we can recommend them: the chaps were FIVE STAR superb. HOWEVER the female owner was a nightmare and when a problem surfaced (that wasn't a problem in the end) and turned nasty, telling us off for not having the keys in hand when we were stuck in a motorway collision en route to the estate agent. 'You should be at the house! She shouted. 'You should be at the house! I've been in the business for twenty-five years...' seemed to end each one of her sentences for some reason. 'My men will have to stay overnight. and that's down to you to pay.' Fine, but what else could we do stuck on a closed motorway? My guess was she had probably been a pain for most of those twenty-five years and I wouldn't be able to trust her if I needed another removal. What happened? The chaps fully deserved their £60 tip and while they said it was one of the easier jobs, they worked well and said they would be back to base around their usual time.

McKellar's provided a great removal service for my house move. Arrived on time, smooth transition of furniture and personal items with no breakages. All three removers were very professional and polite with great chat/banter which made the day a lot less stressful. Will always use McKellar's for any removal services. Highly recommend.

The team at McKellar and Sons were highly professional, positive and supportive. We moved from London to Somerset and had never needed to use a removal company before. They communicated clearly and in a timely fashion and remained flexible whilst we awaited our completion date. Both office staff and practical team were a pleasure to deal with. Careful, considerate and friendly. We would absolutely recommend them.

Throughout the whole stressful process of buying and selling - McKellar were the only ones that kept us sane.
McKellar arrived at 9am 2 nice blokes and 1 Scottish one! Lol.. 😁
by 9.25 my 2 bed cottage was packed up.
They worked unbelievably fast, they were polite and professional. But most of all the guys were a good laugh especially during the anxious wait to say you've completed.
All furniture came out without issue they knew exactly what they were doing without any damage or mess. The only issue was when I got involved and tried to help which probably I was getting in the way, lol so my advice is to let them do their job.
I would 100% recommend mckellar to do your removal especially the packing by them too.
