Highly recommend Forfar removals. They made move day so straightforward and really know what they're doing. The house was packed up quickly and they were really helpful at the other end making sure everything was where we wanted it. Genuinely worth every penny, can't thank them enough

Our Italian Units went into storage here for 7 months and came back damaged - doors were warped.
We paid heavily every month for insurance to cover these expensive units but because we never spotted the warped doors straight away they refused to pay out !!
Very frustrating.

We used those guys to help us unload our truck. team were professional, turned up on time, Handle everything with care and made unload very pleasant and quick. Thanks to Craig and his colleague and Jen in the office for organising everything. Top company

I suppose you could loosely describe their job as a 'removal'. Firstly, The admin who we dealt with when booking was probably delighted when it hit 5pm as it was evident she did not want to be at her work. We were, however, delighted that they chose to come out and visit us to quote the removal as we felt this would give us an accurate quote and allow them to judge the size of vehicle needed to complete the removal. This could not have been further from the reality. We were offered an equally expensive quote by another company but felt as though Forfar Removals warranted the job because they would complete the job themselves allowing us to get on with tying everything up with solicitors and the usual on completion day, yet we finished the day in our new house with all our boxes in the garage and a storage unit that was still approx 25% full. Whoever priced this job must have had a blindfold on. They turned up in two what I would call 'vans' as opposed to the larger 'lorry' I expected and having had no experience in the removal game I knew immediately it would not be enough to complete in one trip so the blindfolded man who priced this must have had some career. The fact we were told we would need to pay more for them to complete the removal from the storage unit is quite frankly laughable given we paid upwards of £760 for a 'removal'. Have you ever heard of a removal company that can't complete a removal? If you are gullible enough to use this 'removal' company please make sure they quote you correctly because 3 weeks into our new home we still have not completed the removal from the storage unit. Personally, if we do ever need removals again I would hire a horse and cart before using these charlatans.Read more
