Sadly a very bad experience after myself age 65 and 2 elderly had to carry heavy furniture to the van when Jay came alone to take my belongings into storage.
4 pictures of great family importance went missing in storage with no apology or explanation.when I complained Jay put the phone down on me,at no time was I rude to him.
The British association of removers and Removal ombudsman statedthat I should have been given a contract and that he is not licensed with them as stated.
I thought what a nice man until this happened.
My advice find a licensed company and insist on a written contract.

Jay's Removals are truly exemplary in their helpful spirit of Cornish magic! My removals company, from the Midlands, got stuck in a narrow steep road in St Ives, we made news of Cornwall Live! Jay and his crew stepped up to rescue us. Real heroes and they did it from their massive Cornish hearts, not for money. Thanks a million Jay. You guys are fantastic 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉💯

Excellent service from Jay. I needed a 24 hour response to move a piece of heavy equipment. As Jay had a gap in his schedule he was happy to oblige. He confirmed with me the time he would arrive and arrived five minutes before he was due and did an excellent job.

We are so pleased we chose Jays removals and storage for our move. They took the stress out of the move by being there every step of the way with suggestions and support. We moved over a few days because of the sheer volume of items and it was quite a long distance. To add to it, the new property is situated on a very steep slope and the items were extremely heavy. Jay and Clive managed the entire move, without complaint - they remained positive and happy througout and pushed to get us into our new home comfortably and on time. They are lovely guys, hard working and everything arrived in perfect condition. We have no idea how they managed it but they did. Super easy to work with, would highly recommend for anyone wishing to have an easy, stress free move. Thank you both very much.
