I contacted Chris apprehensively as I was concerned about removing a very heavy plinth treatment bed from upstairs. I was worried as it may damage the stairway and also a large leather corner sofa which I didn’t think would fit out of the doors easily.
Chris wasn’t phased. His motto about the plinth was ‘if it went up, it will come back down’. He reassured me that he uses covers for moving furniture, especially leather as it can pull easily.
On the day of our removal, Chris and his helper turned up on time, they were friendly and cracked on with the job, nothing seemed too large of an ask. The plinth came down like a breeze and the sofa had it’s own sleeping bag for each section before transporting.
I couldn’t recommend Alwoodley man with a van enough, they were amazing and took the stress out of moving. I will definitely use again. Thank you A**

Fabulous! Chris took on my house move after White Rose cancelled at 48hr notice. Absolutely brilliant, can't recommend highly enough. Also really good value!

Honest, trustworthy and reliable. Having worked with Chris on a couple of urgent contracts we honestly can't fault the service he provides. Response times are excellent and he's always gone that extra mile to accommodate our requirements. Equally impressed with the care and attention in ensuring that equipment, furniture and furnishings are handled with care, securely carried and fully protected during transit. Chris and his helper Michael were wonderful at collecting a very heavy solid oak sideboard (which they nicknamed 'the beast') and delivering it safely to our house with ease and no fuss. They were early to collect and got straight on with the job. I had to change the collection and delivery date at the last minute and Chris was so helpful and didn't mind a bit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris, and Michael also if two men are needed. Totally professional, friendly and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Thank you so much.

These guys definitely know what they are doing. Requested a 2 man collection and delivery. They collected a corner sofa, a suitcase and two boxes taped together and delivered them to my mother-in-law. They came when they said they would and handled every item with care. Friendly and absolutely outstanding service. Wouldn't hesitate to use again
