Nothing but moaning throughout the move!
Paul fit me in around other jobs which I was grateful for but it was clear that he did not have the time so it would have been better to just turn down the job!
I was quoted £150 to move a sofa, a desk, a chest of drawers and a few boxes which was okay at short notice. When it came to paying, he tried to charge me an extra £70 because he had misjudged meaning he had to come back to finish the job.
Turned up late with no call or message to give an eta, then had to rush off to another job so I ended up carrying all of the boxes myself to help him out with getting away in time. So in the end, he wanted £220 for less than an hours work in total and to only move a sofa, a desk, and a chest of drawers which was cheeky to say the least….the job ended up not even being worth close to the £150 let alone an extra £70 on top!
When he came back the following day with the sofa he was supposed to turn up around midday-1pm but didn’t show until 7pm and if I hadn’t contacted him (at 3:30pm) I wouldn’t have had any idea if or when he would turn up.
There was no care taken with the items moved and they in fact scuffed the sofa.
Paul has such a negative attitude towards his jobs and seems to treat the lads working for him with very little respect and the way he speaks to them at times is not acceptable. The lads were sound and they could do great in the removal business if then cut ties with Paul and find an employer who appreciates their work!Read more

Paul and his team were great. They helped move my stuff to Scotland on short notice at a good price. They took care of everything, including my big plants, which was awesome. Not a single item was broken during the process. They even stored my stuff overnight to save from driving back to Leeds to return my keys. They definitely helped in making the moving process less stressful. Definitely recommend Swift Shift!

Paul and his lads were great. As a family with young kids we had so much that needed packing / breaking down / rebuilding. Paul came the day before, got everything ready so that on moving day it was very straightforward. He made what could have been a very stressful day, very straight forward and manageable. The very best value for money you are going to get for a packing and moving job.

As a family, we've used Paul and his team on 3 occasions now, and couldn't ask for anything more.

Paul was absolutely fantastic what a gentleman. I have moved country 3 times, from Ireland to England, to Scotland back to England, out of all 3 removals, Paul was the best!
If your looking a house removal, he's the one to go for! Not even one glass or plate broken which I was expecting.
Fantastic service, was so stressed and worried about everything fitting into the van, but Paul was so comforting and reassuring during the entire process, done this all while making it all the way back in Yorkshire to watch the Euros England match!

Absolutely brilliant! Very helpful and affordable rates. Helped me and my sister move her belongings into her new house after being let down and cancelled on multiple times. Went above and beyond hiring a van and taking good care of her belongings. Very trustworthy and reliable!! Thank you again Paul!
