I was extremely worried about certain heavy and large items being possible to be removed. The move was complicated as there were 4 planned drop offs as the final destination was much smaller than the property being left. However, within seconds of arriving I was put totally at ease by Glen and Archie, shortly followed by Mitch. They advised that there would be no problems with the items. Their approach was professional whilst being very jovial. The first two drop offs went smoothly as did the third, except access was very difficult and long winded with no parking nearby. So everything was walked a good distance down plenty of stairs. There was not one complaint (that I heard anyway). The fourth and meant to be final destination ended up being much smaller than anticipated. So furniture had to be taken to a fifth destination with more stairs involved. These guys worked tremendously hard and were totally professional. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We had a big move (3 story townhouse) and couldn’t do ourselves. The team packed our belongings the day before the move - great care was taken and throughout were thoroughly professional. Can’t believe how quick they packed. Returned the next day for move day - again same professionalism. Dismantled all our awkward furniture including office and garden. They also worked with the cleaners we brought in on the day of the move. They were also great fun and made what is a stressful time very easy.
Highly recommended - will use again. Thanks HCS team !

We could not have asked for a better removal company. We had a slightly completed situation with our belongings coming from Germany and our house not being ready to move into. HCS safely and securely stored our items. They then delivered them to the house, working with us to find a good time to do so. They moved the furniture into the house carefully and with upmost respect. The whole time we dealt with them, they answered our queries clearly and in a timely fashion. Not only that but they are absolutely lovely people who clearly value their customers. 5 stars. 10/10.

We used HCS Removals when we were unable to get our preferred removal company, but that said they were extremely accommodating in fitting us in at short notice.
We made full use of the packing service, and 3 people came the day before and did an excellent service in packing us up, very quickly with great care and attention.
When the team arrived the morning of the move, it was mainly a case of loading up and dismantling a couple of bits before moving onto our new property.
Once again the unloading was a breeze with all the carefully labelled boxes, all furniture was looked after and wrapped with care.
The customer service has been first class from Donna, constantly communicating and keeping us updated.
We had one small issue, where an item of furniture got scratched, but we pointed it out to the guys, took photos and spoke to Steve and emailed pics of the damage.
Once again communication was on point and our item was collected, sent to the French polishers and returned to us like new.
I am glad we used HCS Removals as we had a great experience with them, and everyone we came into contact that was representing the company, big thank you to Steve and Gang.Read more

Approach HCS with caution as while I had heard about good experiences of moving with them, my experience was terrible.
HCS were very flexible while our move got delayed and it went smoothly for most of our possessions, we have several issues which are still not resolved 7 weeks later and our emails are being ignored.
There was significant damage to furniture, our BBQ and woodwork in our new home. We did not feel confident in their ability to fix metal and wood so refused help with these, but our furniture is still not fixed. We have called several times and emailed but we are getting nowhere.
In addition their team were unprofessional at times, moaning and groaning and saying things like 'How the hell are we going to get that [a bed frame] up the stairs?'. Their team urinated over both our toilet seats, and did not clean this up. They also caused unnecessary delay moving our possessions into our home which was apologised for. All these things are not what I expected from a removals company with what I thought was a good reputation. All of our possessions were extremely dirty from transport/the van, and everything had to be cleaned. Including many of our newborn baby's possessions.
Overall, a really disappointing experience and made a stressful event (moving house) even more difficult.Read more

I cannot speak highly enough of the service provided by HCS. From the first interaction to the last their staff were courteous, professional & dedicated. On moving day itself their team arrived punctually and did not waste time in getting to work. No task was too difficult and they even went out of their way to accommodate requests and offered assistance doing little additional tasks. They were jovial throughout the day and it was apparent that they were keeping things light hearted for OUR benefit - to take some of the stress out of a naturally stressful day. A superb company.
My advice would be to keep these fellas well stocked with tea & biscuits and they’ll literally move mountains for you
