We recently moved to our new house. The process to agreed the completion date was a pain with many proposed date and changes. During this process, Joel was flexible and supportive. They came the day before the moving to do the packaging and they managed to finish by lunch time! Everything was packed with care, nothing broke. Moving day started early and finished on time. Joel and his team were friendly, and professional. They move us with on hassle at all. Definitely recommended

Joel and his team of four, using two Luton vans, did a superb job of moving the contents of our house. We moved from a three-storey house, which made moving large items of furniture challenging, especially from the first-floor living room. However, the whole team was very careful and caused no damage to either building, even when moving a large sofa and bookcases. Joel and his team worked hard and were all friendly and helpful, and thought about their actions. From when Joel came out to quote for the job, until the move was successfully completed, Sharpstone & Sons were truly professional.

Joel (and his whole crew) were fantastic in dealing with our move. Our initial movers were not available at short notice, but in hindsight I’m so glad I found Sharpstone instead. Contact was good, everything was moved carefully, quickly and the whole process was stress free on a day when the last thing you need is stress! I cannot recommend highly enough.

Brilliant service from start to finish. Really professional - even our new neighbours remarked on that. Natalie was supportive, patient, and flexible, from the initial quote all the way through to move day, and the team of packers/movers were friendly, efficient, and hardworking - a joy to have around! Sharpstone & Son made moving home a lot less stressful than I had been fearing. Won’t hesitate to recommend the company, and if we ever move again we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

We found Sharpstone & Sons on Google quite by chance, after the removal companies we had spoken to or researched couldn't commit because although imminent, we hadn't actually exchanged even though completion day was set in stone. On meeting Natalie, she put us at ease immediately, assuring us that our move from Hitchin to Suffolk (complete with awkward belongings) would not be a problem. Natalie allocated us 2 jumbo vehicles and a Luton box van (more than anyone else had specified) for less or equal to other company quotations. They were fabulous! On moving day, I only popped out briefly to walk the dog and by the time I was back, everything from upstairs had been loaded onto the vans. They arrived in Suffolk and proceeded to unload everything just as efficiently, taking all the boxes to the rooms written on the labels and the lads were just so good humoured from the minute they arrived to the minute they left. I cannot recommend them highly enough and if we ever move back, I would use them again in a heartbeat. Wonderful team of people!Read more
