I have paid in full in advance £3135, which was estimated by their surveyor my move will be done : packing, moving, plus after tenancy cleaning .
I informed the surveyor about specifics of this move : my super king size mattress, headboard and foot board of the bed should be lifted down from the side of the terrace. I also informed that the property I was moving to has a lift to 4th floor only and it is a small lift, the larger pieces of furniture would have to be taken to the fifth floor by the stairs. All of these details were given to their qualified surveyor.
Another company whom offered a much cheaper quote of £2390 which included packing and moving. As I used Fantastic services in the past 7.5 years on and off, I generally was pleased with carpet cleaning, jet washing, gardening and window cleaning. And because in their quote you state “Safeguarding your belongings is of utmost importance to us. That's why we offer an EnhancedLiability coverage that protects all items up to an impressive £15,000. Your possessions are in safe hands with Fantastic Services Comprehensive Services” So I chose Fantastic Services, that seems very ironic and foolish now.
I was hoping I would get the same efficient services with the removals side of their business.
However it was horrific experience and nevertheless, I have ended up paying more than it was estimated for packaging, plus this company still harassing me to pay even more, which is totally unjustified for several reasons as stated. It is illegal trying to take unauthorised payments from another company bank cards use.
There was a list of belongings created by the surveyor , 1/3 of the furniture was in the end taken by my friend who organised her own removal from my property.
The total of the quote has not been amended, even there were 1/3 of furniture were less to take to the In the quote it says that there would be 5 workers at the site at the same time. The problem was that 2 of them arrived at 9 am the rest 10.30 -11 am, which made this time less efficient and prolonged the job to be done. This was one of issues.
Through out first hours , the workers were taking breaks and lunch , which is perfectly fine, however, I am not obliged to pay for their breaks so whatever time they used for that should be extended in work .
They had careless attitude to my belongings, my furniture, as a result, has been damaged. They thrown my £2000 Hypnos mattress bought from John Lewis from the balcony on the second floor, instead of, as it was agreed with surveyor, they should have lifted down with robes carefully.
When I run upstairs to confront him about mattress not been handled the way it was agreed he said : “ I hate John Lewis mattresses”. This is totally unacceptable, they must’ve treat your customers belongings in such appalling manner and damage them. All potential customers should be horrified to know how the furniture woulremoved so would Trading Standards. The same was done with the bed frame. Same they should have done with my headboard and footboard of the bed frame, by lifting it down on the ropes wrapped and protected. new place.
I had informed the surveyor prior to our agreement, that my stairs was very narrow and it should and so mattress and my headboard and footboard of the bed frame, be wrapped and lifted down the side of the balcony on the ropes wrapped and protected. Fantastic Services removals workers, even despite, my objections, took both of them through the stairs , scratched the walls and damaged both headboard and footboard board . None of my furniture was wrapped, when it was carried out of the house. It was scratched and dimpled against the wall or to anything what was in the way . I have came to someone who seemed to be a leader of the group, his response was that they put blankets in the van . I also had numerous time alerts about the time, I received a response from the same person “ don’t worry, no rush “. Every time I have raised the concern or brought to their attention that what they were doing was not according to plan I was belittle “with relax don’t worry”, they showed to respect to my requests , like they know better what to do and how. My wardrobe was dismantled and reassembled in the new property and because it was not wrapped there are chipping in most visible places. Both of my chest of drawers in dark wood have signs of damage, dimples and scratches to the colour and polish. This bedroom set I bought in 2005 and paid £12000.I strongly recommend to trust the removals to another company! I received no apology no resolution offer for the damages, just demands to pay extra £540! I am single mother with son who has disability, it was very difficult financially and mentally to move and to manage his condition at such stressful circumstances.
Their quote should be close to the amount to be paid for the job, they would entice you about the numbers they have done, the qualifications of surveyors, there should be a team work and a leader on the job. My experience was horrendous because of their actions, from lateness, through mattress off the balcony, not wrapping things up, giving a quote and then ask for large amount extra. These shows that Fantastic Service Removal quotes are misleading and intending to extract more money from people with appalling standards of efficiency and care. Taking standard issues.
The employees of this company have destroyed my mattress worth £2,000 and damaged my furniture, and they have the audacity to illegally try and take money from me. Nobody called for 2 weeks when I reported the issues next day on the phone , nobody apologised, there are money demands every day , I need to replace the mattress which will cost me £2000 , plus to restore the furniture they have damaged . And haven’t even informed about taken payments, though last time - I have received confirmation emails!!
This time, they doubled the charge for the same amount of items to be removed, even though half of it still were packed since last time they have done a relocation service and - it was from 2 different locations as well!!! So how come the price has doubled to over £4K??!!
And on top of that - while we were unpacking in the new place, found a couple of broken items, as one wasn’t wrapped and another one was taken by one of the removal guys even though I told them not to touch that box!!
Now they don’t want to hear anything about it as apparently we are past the deadline of reporting it?? Lol
No morals!! No shame!!
I’ll make sure I’ll leave the true feedback everywhere I can.


Only at the time of moving my boxes back to my new address, I were told that the redelivery services (which I was also told was included in the initial price I paid) are carried out only from Monday to Wednesday and are charged £204/two hours. Even to access my boxes personally, the cost would still be of £204. I found this extremely unprofessional, as we were not told this initially. However, they agreed to schedule the delivery for the 17th, which I appreciated.
We had to waste our day calling them, as their number always directs you to an automatic reply, which tells you that they’ll call you back. The customer service provided through WhatsApp chat replied after a minimum of an hour, hence when we had to meet the drivers who were redelivering our boxes, we could not contact anybody, as we were only given an Irish number to contact.
The redelivery was scheduled to be carried out between 9-10, while it was carried out between 13-14, forcing us to change our plans, as we had to stay home to wait for them, with no update regarding their location. After the service was completed, we were charged an additional £130, as we were told that the service took more time than expected (however the drivers told us they came late because of problems in the warehouse, hence not because of delivery location or time, which therefore we should not be charged anything for).
In the end after “bargaining” with fantastic removals for a few days, they said that the maximum amount they could refund us is £70. Which we agreed upon, out of lack of time and energy to further discuss this matter with this company.
Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the service.

They did an internal investigation after I reported an in I sent ( their employees stole jewelery worth a lot) , they basically asked the employees if they did it, they said no and closed the case. After emailing back and forth I proved that their employees were lying after which they decided to tell me that they are hiring other companies, so it’s not their responsibility anymore.
It’s not a single case. I ordered packers, but some of my friends used their cleaning services, similar thing happened. In addition, in terms of services, they didn’t bring any clear cello tape, which I payed for. I got the police involved, but I don’t think the case is getting anywhere close to resolve the, and I don’t think the company is interested in solving it in any way.
