Genuinely the smoothest move I've ever had. We were probably the definition of a nightmare client (we had two complete flats, spread across Manchester, to move down to Plymouth in a single day, with about two weeks notice!) but Roman Removals were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Ian was incredibly helpful and upfront about our options when quoting and ran us through a variety of choices to make sure we were happy, and on the day Mark and Zac were absolute magicians. Turned up bang on time, packed everything quickly and carefully, drove 250 miles, and unloaded everything into the right rooms with the same level of care. They even brought wardrobe boxes! I can wholeheartedly recommend Roman Removals if you're after a move without any headaches, and they were well worth the (incredibly competitive!) price.
If you're moving and weighing up going for a man and van - honestly, don't bother. Save yourself the stress and just get these guys to handle it!

This is the second time I use Roman Removals. Mark has been on both of the moves and Liam was on this second one. They were both great! Moving is always stressful and they made things a lot easier on the day. I would highly recommend this company and I am sure I will be using them again in the future. Thank you to Ian and his team!

I found Roman Removals via the “Really Moving” website. They had 5* reviews across the board there also.
Firstly, Ian was continually in contact with me through the move. I emailed him a list and photos of the furniture I wanted moving and what date. With it in being a last minute move, I was booked in. The price was very competitive with other removals companies!
Mark and Liam were my movers. They were very prompt for a 9:30am start and had come in a large van. I can’t put into words really how fantastic they were whilst moving me. They were both absolutely lovely and easy to chat to in between shifting the furniture. They were incredibly patient and kept me up to date on the progress as they were moving my furniture.
The best way to describe Mark and Liam was that it felt like I had family chipping in to help move. They did everything I asked for and more. They were careful with my furniture and advised on where to best place it and move it.
I’m regular mover due to work etc and it’s been really difficult to find reliable, professional and experienced movers, I’ve already decided that I’ll be using Roman Removals for the next inevitable move.Read more

Fantastic company for removals, small family company that care. They were really careful with all our stuff & furniture and made the whole experience stress free. Ian was great and honest on the phone and Grant did a top job on the moving day.
