I would give 0stars…. Awful company, shocking customer service, untrustworthy. Paid £175 for a pick up, they were 2 hours late and then refused to take it in the property cause they had to walk across a corridor. They left it at the front doors of a care home and expected the elderly lady to take it herself or pay an extra £100. Scammers! Shocking bad! Avoid avoid avoid

Horrible service, avoid like the plague, they don’t deserve any stars at all.

This company has failed me during one of my worst moments, where I had to be rehoused due to circumstances beyond my control.

To begin, I had to pay roughly £160 for a basic flat move. The driver who shown up was rather rude and didn’t communicate with us well, mostly on his phone chatting to… well who knows? We did our best to communicate with the driver, and had all our belongings packaged well beforehand to make the move as easy as possible for everyone.

While moving our items, we had to repeatedly ask him to help us move them (my mum is pension age and has a disability, and had to move heavy items down the stairs). When he finally did move the items, he was very careless and damaged fragile items (which we warned him to handle with care). It was a rushed job and he couldn’t care less about our personal belongings.

The driver then loaded the items into his van incorrectly, despite us asking if they are properly secured, as the way he loaded them didn’t appear secure and we assumed they would get damaged in transit. He assured us they were loaded correctly even though it was obvious they weren’t, and reassured us they would not get damaged in transit.

What a surprise. When the items arrived at our new property numerous damages were evident. I have since contacted AnyVan for compensation and as expected, they lowballed me on their offer of compensation.

I have made this company aware I will be seeking legal action and I encourage anyone who had the displeasure of using this company to do the same.

Very fast moving service, however they arrived an hour before the time specified for collection, and tried to deliver the items 4 hours before the delivery time.

The same van also was used for our vendors, who scheduled pickup for 11am- rather than going to them first, they arrived with us early and tried to pressure our vendors into storing our belongings before we even had keys, despite the fact we repeatedly told them about the situation.

The van was also very dirty, marking a number of our belongings, with damage done to several of our boxes.

Really unhappy with the customer service, who were more interested in the £80 upcharge than our experiences with the driver.

most definitely do not recommend this company. start to finish it was chaos. I paid for a premium package because I am suffering from breast cancer and a month out of major surgery and about to start chemotherapy. I medically cannot do the heavy lifting. I needed the take down and reassemble service as again I cannot do the heavy lifting. As about to start chemotherapy I need the beds up straight away in order for us to all sleep separately. I relied on this service at a very difficult time and they let me down badly. They didn’t provide the services paid for, the customer services (cs) have been difficult and one incident unprofessional and totally immoral. the day of the move the drivers arrived over 3 hours late, saying there was a major crash on the motorway but no record on the travel news. They started the move late into the afternoon. refused to pack giving me the tape and unconstructed and packed boxes myself. I moved them to the door to be loaded into the van. They proceeded to take down the beds in a rush, damaging the bed. 9 hours to move the stuff to my new house. They did not attempt to take down the trampoline and left that at my rented house as well as other item. removal took 3 days and no reassemble. I clarified with anyvan times in advance of the move take down and reassemble the trampoline, if they couldn’t do it I would cancel and use another company. One the day of the removal the guy suddenly became ill during the delivery was going to stop. He asked for a lemon and proceeded to bite into it, which made him suddenly better but still to ill to take down the trampoline. He said he would come the next day if he was better.He then rang back at 4pm to say it was getting dark and now not coming. When we got to my new house 9 hours later, items were missing, damaged and they caused damage to my window and porch light. The cs were awful, it was constantly repeating information and minimal resolution and unprofessional at times. One awful call the guy decided to not deal with issue in hand as is his job but to patch me through to the removalman who then screamed at me for 15 min while the cs guy sat back and listen. I ask the cs adviser to stop this, and he refused. In the end I asked if the call was being recorded to be reviewed at a later date. I explained that experience was awful, I was physically shaking and that he neglected to do his job and has listen to a guy scream and harass me and he consent to allow that to happen. He just laughed. I rang back to speak to someone else and I could hear him still laughing and making derogatory comments about me in the background. Which I hope has been recorded as well. This was on a day that Anyvan had sent another team out to finish the job could not finish the job as parts were missing and said they hadn’t been given enough time to do the job. wanted to leave but wanted me to sign to say it’s complete. This lead to the need to call cs these guys were telling the car that they could not complete the job because the parts are missing and they don’t get paid unless I signed. They also kindly stepped in to help when the other driver was allowed to scream at me for over 15 min. I complained and stated I wanted a full refund.
They explained it had been passed on and someone would be in touch to discuss with in 5 days. I then noticed a refund of £50 in my account made without any discussion. They said that this was a compensatory payment for the lack of packing. I said this was not discussed as promised that I didn’t consent to this as a resolution and to stop the payment as it was insufficient. then later refused a refund saying this concludes the matter and I have asked for my complaint to be escalated but this appears to have been ignored. This was after numerous email exchanges and their incorrect info. I have also sent my complaint to Angus Elphinstone, ignored. Are you happy making money this way?

Wouldn't even give them 1 star. Absolutely shocking service from a scummy company. I rang them to arrange my move to another city a week ahead of time, they said it was doable and took £145 from my bank.
When it came to move day they didn't arrive in their promised slot, then promised to arrive later. Eventually once they'd missed their third slot, (and I was already moved across to my new place) they said they couldn't do it today but would try again in 2 days time.
Shocking experience, they truly do not care about moving your stuff, only taking your money and playing you like a fool.
If you get a higher quote from someone else, just save yourself the stress and pay extra. AnyVan are NOT worth it.

Amin moved 7 desks and 3 chairs from my old art studio to the studios of artists across Salford and Manchester for a very reasonable price and with great professionalism.

I really enjoyed working with Amin and would certainly recommend his services.
