Our primary services specialise in house moves and business relocation. In addition to our core services can also offer trade clients with a contract delivery service.

All our staff are uniformed, Disclosure Scotland checked, reliable and friendly. All our vehicles ranging from Luton sized vans up to 7.5 and even 18 tonne trucks are maintained to the correct standard and come with the relevant insurance.

Disappointing service and 5 weeks later, still waiting for damage compensation.
We went with Strongman Removals & Storage Ltd after getting a few quotes. [Name removed by Sirelo] came out to assess the place and was professional, knowledgeable, and offered a competitive price. We were clear about what needed moving, paid the date waiver fee, and [Name removed by Sirelo] kindly threw in the key waiver fee.
Unfortunately, things went downhill on move day itself.
While the moving crew was friendly and tried their best with the equipment they had, things got a bit unprofessional.
When they saw two heavy whisky half-barrels in the garden—which were explicitly included in the initial quote—they initially did not want to take them and falsely claimed my partner had agreed to empty them herself!
Late morning, they kept nagging us to chase our solicitors for keys, even though we had the key waiver specifically to cover any waiting time. On top of that, they didn't bring enough van space for all our stuff. We were forced to leave garden items sitting outside a property we no longer legally owned while they made a second trip later.
Care for our belongings was lacking. We agreed to store most items in the garage, but asked for kitchen boxes to go in the kitchen. A few made it inside, but the rest were crammed into the garage with zero care. Boxes clearly labeled 'Fragile' were crushed under heavy items, and boxes with food were buried at the very back. We had to spend two full days pulling everything out and restacking it all ourselves.
When we cleared out the garage, we found several chipped and scratched pieces of furniture, a hole in our firepit, and a big rip in our garden furniture cover. We get that minor scuffs can happen during a move, so we aren't even asking for money for the furniture. We’re literally only asking for roughly £100 to cover the damaged firepit and cover.
The real issue has been the follow-up—or lack of it. Over the past five weeks, we’ve had a couple of slow, vague replies from [Name removed by Sirelo], and our last email was ignored completely.
If Strongman had just taken responsibility and reimbursed us for the damaged items, I would have let the rest of the day's issues slide. But given the poor communication and complete lack of resolution, I can't recommend using them.Read more
