After delays in the process meant we had just one week to pack up our huge old house to move to our new home I was struggling to find removals that could take on, not just the volume if our possessions, but the issues around access to our old house with its 35 steps up to the road. I contacted ACT and Clive could not have been more helpful and re-assuring.
He came out the same day to survey what needed doing and called me the same evening to agree what he could do and a price.
The team turned up on the agreed day and moved everything out and up the steps in a calm, collected and careful fashion. On the following day they waited patiently at my new home for completion and then, when I was in despair because it was delayed again, Clive re-assured me that there was a plan meaning they could return the following day and move us in.
They were brilliant throughout and I was so grateful to Clive and his team for their patience and care.
I would highly recommend ACT to anyone looking for a careful and reliable moving service.Read more

We can’t thank Clive and his team enough! A very last minute booking and Clive was able to book us in wavering a deposit for a very reasonable price. Other quotes we’d had felt very ‘salesy’ yet with Clive, he was professional and chilled out without scaring us with any disaster stories. There were no scary t&cs to contend with. On moving day, they arrived on time and were so polite and courteous and had the vans packed far faster than we envisaged, taking off before us. Once we arrived at our new house, they’d actually unloaded everything perfectly into the house for us and were finished! Will recommend to any friends that I know moving! Diolch yn fawr iawn am pobeth!

After reading the reviews of ACT removals I thought they would be perfect for job and support a local business.
Phoned Clive originally and give him a list of everything I needed removing, we agreed a price and as the distance we were moving too was extremely close he knocked £20 off, cant fault that.
Removal day arrives and three men arrive. Started off brilliantly and the guys with him were great to be fair. Getting towards the end of the removal and he mentioned he couldn't fit the chest of draws draws on as the weight on the van was starting to build up, I did give him a list at the start.
Arrived at the new property and unloaded everything and the large oak table was last. I did mention the legs would have to come off as access was restricted in the new property. On completing the removal and everything in the rooms I noticed the table still had the legs off and against the wall, I asked if he was going to put the legs back on and he said no to my surprise.
I mentioned the price with the £20 off and he said no, full price as it was a full load. Even though he didn't bring the draws which was agreed on the list.
When we went back to the old house to get the small stuff and the draws I noticed one draw was bust all over the floor and in bits!! Not sure what they done but it was in pieces. I understand things are going to get knocked about when moving but be truthful to be people and stick to your word as agreed.
Would I use Clive again or recommend him? Probably not. Its a shame because the two other lads seemed tidy enough.

Always use ACT when ever we need a large van for anything, if your looking for a van to rent phone Clive he will help you if he can 👍
