Excellent service. The van arrived early and the guys were extremely efficient loading and unloading. The sofas/bed mattress were well wrapped for protection and the guys took care moving around both properties. They were pleasant to deal with and I would thoroughly recommend.

1st class service from start to finish, we move from a house to a maisonette and the guys work hard and efficiently.
I cannot state how professional they where
From giving us boxes and tape offering to box it all if needed
The team arrived at 8am and had loaded the lorry by ten past 9.
The whole process took 3 hrs from start to finish and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
The company wasn't the cheapest quote I got but
By far the best, most efficient and effective service around
We have moved a lot of times and this was the best by far
The highest praise must go to Cooksons and son!!!!!

Christian and his team moved us in August 2024. Like so many other reviewers, we cannot rate them highly enough. The whole team were a great bunch of guys. Courteous and polite and nothing too much trouble. Everything packed and moved with great care - the best removal service we have had in a long, long time (and we have moved a lot!). Cookson and Son helped us move house a week ago. Everything was really straight forward and surprisingly fast! The whole team couldn't do enough for us. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend! 👌

Cookson & Son Movers did our house move last week and I can’t speak highly enough of them.
Christian and 3 of his fellow team mates packed up my house of 34 years in an hour and half.
When I say I had a lot of boxes, I had nearly 100 plus all the furniture of a 4 bed house, plus garden furniture and plants etc.
They were so professional, polite and careful with everything, nothing was too much trouble for them.
I will be recommending them with 100% confidence to anyone I know who needs this service.
