We recently moved with Northwest removals and had a great experience. They handled all our furniture etc (including a piano!) carefully and there wasn’t a scratch on the walls. And for a very reasonable price too! We’d recommend them to others for certain.

We recently moved 100 miles away to Penrith and was anxious about this part of it. No need at all !!!! From the lovely friendly lady in the office and the 3 lads who moved us completely put our minds at rest. They arrived with 2 vans and did such a good job. So professional and polite!!! Old fashioned manners !! But good humour and banter with each other throughout the day. We would totally recommend these lads 100%- as did our friends who used the company when moving last year - they recommended them to us.

North West Removals moved us today and I can't speak highly enough of them. From being flexible about dates when weren't sure we would exchange on time, to ensuring the move went as smoothly as possible, they were brilliant from start to finish.

Absolutely amazing experience! We had a removal, into storage and then storage into the new purchase. Top quality service from start to finish. Felt a little left out while moving into the new house as all I had to do was stand there and tell them where to put everything! All dissembling and reassembling is done too which I was really impressed with! Highly recommended and wouldn’t use another company!

I love their service! The guys came in at 9am in the morning and started moving stuff straight away. Everyone one was so friendly and kind, they dismantled my furniture and packed my items nicely and perfectly.Their organisation is excellent !
The receptionist was so lovely and kind and helped me in every best possible way.
On moving day, my car broke down and the team was so kind and helped me pick up my new keys from the estate agent. They are trustworthy and reliable. I definitely recommend. They said they will fix my furniture when I'm ready which is excellent 😃 and they will come anytime.
I'm very happy with their service a 10/10 from me. I recommend this company to anyone who wants to have a stress free move.

I had all of my furniture put into storage whilst between house moves. After deciding to delay the move, I contacted north west removals to ask them for a quote and date of when they could deliver my furniture to a closer, more convenient storage unit. This was no trouble and everything was delivered 2 days after initially asking.
However, upon delivery, I noticed that the sofa had significant water damage to the frame. This was obvious damage but had not been mentioned at any point until I queried it with the men delivering.
After checking the furniture again, I noticed damage to other items that had clearly not been removed and stored properly. Deep scratches, chips, cracks and even animal droppings on wooden storage units.
When I contacted North West about this, they were not interested. I was asked to send photos but no one responded. I have phoned them several times but no one answers the phone. When I eventually got through this morning, I was told a claims form had been emailed although I hadn't received one, despite having received emails from them in the past with no trouble. I was then told that a form could be posted out but this would obviously delay the process.
There has been no apology or acceptance that so much of my furniture has been damaged by them during the removal and storage.Read more
