We used their full packaging and moving service, and were very impressed with the quality of it.
The packaging was smooth, with items carefully handled, and boxes clearly labelled. Same with the moving in, where the team negotiated tight corners of the new home with speed and no damage.
Special thanks to Ricky who was there throughout the whole process.

Cambridge Removals did a really good job with our house move. We had the full packing service and this made the process much smoother for us. We'd definitely recommend them to others!

Do not hire this company! I repeat, do not hire them. We paid maybe 1.5k£ to get our house which was already prepacked (we did books and clothes ourselves) to get 2 men put the remainder things in boxes and in the garage and disassemble furniture ahead of some home renovations. We explained them we’d like the big furniture in the back and small boxes in front, and I offered to help labelling boxes since i was off the whole day. They said not to worry because they’re professional and just enjoy my day. So I did, and this is what happened: no box in the house is labelled, there’s no order in the boxes (e.g. we have pairs of shoes split across boxes, sitting alongside different items), they placed the mattresses at the very entrance of the garage above the flat screen tv thereby breaking it and blocking the access to everything else, these’s no bubble wrap around any of the sensitive items (not around the tv, or fridge or dish washer), all boxes were old and barely holding together, and some broke when we tried to move or unpack them, they weren’t even duck taped so objects kept falling off of them anyway. Then finally, they took all screws and bits of all furniture they disassembled and mixed it together in one box, making it impossible to reassemble anything. Honestly, I’ve been crying for days at this point as literally our entire life needs to be replaced, and I just wish we would have donated everything before them breaking all our hard earned things. The removals team worked efficiently and cheerfully (even when the 2nd floor lift broke and trips had to be made up/down the stairs). Our goods were stored safely for several weeks. The delivery team was equally pleasant to work with and were accommodating in getting some very tricksy items into the new house (carrying heavy items to the rear entrance via a long alleyway). CRS wasn't the cheapest company to quote us, but their professionalism was clear from the first communication through to the last and we thought that was more important. Their office staff were also accommodating when dates changed (several times!). I'd suggest booking them early.

PLEASE BE WARNED - DO NOT TO USE THESE ROGUES
used recently for a house move, so many items broken and damaged. Many not noticed until unpacking and despite having their insurance they point blank refuse to cover damages. However - not surprise by this as the whole experience from moving day to unpacking has been awful. Care of our belongings loading, in-transit and unloading was absolutely non-existent.
They did not allow anywhere near enough time to do the job they had quoted and were paid for. Consequently everything from start to finish was incredibly rushed. Our belongings were simply dumped wherever there was floor space, upstair or down, it didn't matter to them! Everything was in such a mess that identifying and organising boxes to the right rooms afterwards was a mammoth task that we shouldn't have had to do - they should have put everything in the right rooms!
The staff on the day were all self employed workers not actually employed by the Company who just told us the Company were short staffed, had taken on too many jobs and they didn't have enough vans to do the work they had booked.
This company DO NOT CARE about you and your belongings, just about taking your money. Very arrogant attitude. Absolutely the worst experience of our lives - please, please be warned.Read more
