On a scale of 1 to 10, I give Rockford’s Removals an 11. John and his team of Richard and Hobey were absolutely brilliant on every level. Mine was not an easy removal as I required an independent commercial bakery to be moved from Cornwall to the Isle of Wight.
I approached Rockford Removals in February 2025. Faced with the daunting task of moving large, heavy and expensive pieces of equipment, I was immediately filled with confidence when John started by asking all of the right questions.
I was further reassured when John, whilst on holiday in Cornwall, popped over for a site visit to check vehicle access and to see the equipment in person.
On the day of removal, John and his team displayed a level of professionalism that showed that nothing was too difficult to handle. Included in the bakery equipment was a four-deck 750kg commercial oven. The difficult task of dismantling and lifting it did not faze John and his team, and with great care and precision they successfully loaded the sections into their vans ready for the move to the Island. On arrival in Godshill, John and his team unloaded the oven and re-constructed it before moving the rest of the equipment, all with the same level of care and attention.

Really hard saying goodbye to IOW after over 20 years but Rockfords made the move so much easier, really efficient and helpful and understanding about our incredibly complicated delivery schedule. All arrived on time and safe, thank you very much for making the move as easy as it could be

I asked Rockfords to collect from my flat on the mainland and put the furniture in storage on the Island for an unconfirmed period pending delivery to my new home. They were professional and courteous during the quotation and planning stages. They arrived on time to collect my furniture and completed the job within 2 hours. They took care of all my furniture, particularly the 'very fragile' items. An excellent company to deal with.
