It took a week of sporadic emails to hear that a two hour job was not worth their time and effort. Sad times, as I need some furniture moved ASAP. I was told that travel time to and from my area would be charged, which was fine--until I was told that the 5-7 mile journey each way would be charged at half an hour each way. When I stated that it takes me a maximum of 15 minutes either way (on a bad day), I received this:
'Hi Jenn,
It’s not worth us sending two men and a van to Mevagissey for this amount of money.
Hope you get it sorted.

Having someone move your personal possessions obviously involves a trust that the removal firm will be kind, courteous and very careful and knowledgeable. Having now had Steve help me with mine I can honestly say that this guy has all of those professional attitudes. Absolutely recommend him to others.

Steve moved us from Cornwall to Oxfordshire with such ease and professionalism. It was the first time we'd hired professional removals and Steve was responsive and informative right from the start. As well as being great value for money and answering all our daft questions, Steve was a dream to work with at loading and unloading the van. Nothing was too much hassle and he made a long move a lot less stressful. If we ever needed another move to/from Cornwall, I wouldn't hesitate to book Steve again. 10/10 service.

Can’t recommend Steve highly enough! He and his team were amazing when we moved from St Austell to Devon. Turned up on time, were highly professional and also added some much needed and appreciated humour to the day. Not a single item was damaged and some extremely helpful advice was given too. Would definitely use again.

Steve and Nigel moved our belongings from storage to out new home in Mevagissey. Unfailing good humour and and considered thinking around potential problems (e.g the piano) made this a pleasant process. Both Steve and his coworker Nigel were prompt, smart and courteous. I employed them on an hourly basis and was happy to note that they worked hard. I would recommend them.
