Minters of Deal were established in 1920, since which time they have been providing a removals and storage service for the local community and built a solid reputation for care, consideration and reliability, so much so that a high proportion of our business comes from recommendation.
Reliable, specialised vehicles may be expensive but they feel they are essential for removal work and therefore they run a continually upgraded fleet of well serviced and maintained vehicles.
They also have excellent storage facilities at their own purpose built facility in Sandwich, Kent that is covered by all round Security Fencing, CCTV, Fully Alarmed, Fully Watertight and meets Fire & Safety regulations and Pest Control.
They offer tailored door to door relocation services to all European and Worldwide destinations, They also offer "Door to Door" worldwide packing and shipping plus a comprehensive commercial removals service, all handled by our helpful and experienced staff.
They can also offer from stock a wide range of assorted materials for owner packing albeit boxes, paper, bubblewrap, wardrobes cartons, tape, mattress bags, paper blankets etc.Read more

I used Minters for a recent move & found them excellent all round. I looked to see which companies were recommended in local FB groups & contacted three. Minters were def the best. I had packing & removals, two days. Both went smoothly. As I was downsizing, a few things could've been stressful but the guys were helpful & calm. Minters was def the right choice!

Exchanged on a property then had only a few days to organise a removal company. Minters came out promptly and gave a quotation that was in line with all the local company's.
The customer service was great in what could be a stressful time. Steve said let's have a look and here's the plan we felt relaxed and the van was packed.

Day 2 my wife was on her own the team was very helpful again. On this day Toby and Oscar joined the existing staff and the move went very well thanks.

We recently moved house and used Minters of Deal for our removals. Right from the start they were helpful and professional and made the booking process easier than we had experienced with other local firms so decided to go with them - and we were so glad we did! All the staff were friendly, professional and worked so hard to get our move done. We had problems on moving day (bank crash, which caused long delays) and even when we only got the keys to our new home at 4pm - all the guys stayed on and got us in! Other employees turned up to help and although they didn’t have to stay they had all our stuff off loaded by 7pm. Exceptional service from a great team of people. What was such a stressful day was made a lot easier by the calm and clear way the office staff reacted and helped us on the day. Thank you to all who helped both in the office and the removal staff - you were brilliant!

Lost items worth £1500 after spending circa £2000 on storage costs. Further incurred over £1000 to move plus assembly costs. They denied any negligence, threatened me with small claims court, encouraged me to use their insurance firm for claim, I was told I would receive zero compensation and Minters didn’t provide me with list of services /insurances /options when I called them after being recommended to use them by leading Canterbury estate agency . Assembled furniture badly. Heavily stained carpets /walls. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

We made a big move from Kent up to Cumbria. Well what can I say, from start to finish, the move was faultless. The price was the best quote we got, the team were professional and courteous throughout and even little things like wearing a logo uniform makes a difference, it feels more professional. We moved to a house down a little lane and the truck had to be parked up a hill and everything walked down to the house, literally everything and there were no complaints or issues at all. We even put some plants into storage with garden furniture to come up a week later and everything was well looked after and watered, couldn't be happier. Overall, very impressed with the service Minters of Deal provided and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone, thank you Kevin and the team, and a big shout out to Steve and Richard who moved our entire contents down that hill in high temperatures and navigated an awkward garden for access, thank you from the Dawsons in Cumbria.

We have stored numerous vehicles with them in the past. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for storage, always had the peace of mind that our stuff was safe. Very competitive prices too
