Their communication was excellent throughout, and they even went above and beyond to help with last-minute tasks I hadn’t planned for. I couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, friendly, and top-notch move-out help!
When arriving at new location, again very carefully unloaded and set everything up and even checked it was all working. And always very polite.
I moved 6 months ago with another national company. But this time, no stress, no damage and very helpful young men.
Moving again in a year and i want these guys back. Thank you for taking the stress out of moving.
1. £700 for packing, and they failed to pack a downstairs toilet and a couple kitchen cupboard.
2. They were late to arrive on the moving day by 30 minutes. They then took 6h (2 vans, 4 men) to pack a 3 bedroom semi-detached house, and 6h to unpack, which costed a lot when paying by the hour.
3. We had to pack valuables (tvs, monitors, mirrors) in my car and not the moving vans.
4. They damaged a couple items, and lost some screws/fittings to a cot bed. I've asked if we can claim for these on the premium insurance we paid extra for, but the owner has since ghosted me, failing to answer any calls or texts. I can only assume the £100 extra insurance is a scam (and we didn't actually have insurance!).
5. We had to help unload the vans at the end as it was getting too late.
UPDATE: I've since spoken to Swift removals, and we've come to some level of compensation.
