The lads all did a brilliant job and helped me greatly when I had difficulties with my move. All packed carefully and professionally on the van, and everything was put where I requested. A great family business.

What a great bunch of fellas!Friendly, considerate, good sense of humour and hard working.They had quite the workload with my sudden move-a 4 bed big Victorian house with a large shed having to dramatically downsize to a much smaller semi rural home with no time to do it beforehand.The company stepped in at 1 days notice and everything was moved.Great service and truly appreciated.

I have used Churchills 3 times - each time they have been incredibly helpful and responsive. I can not fault them, and would never use anyone else.
I can honestly say that they reduced my stress levels because of their 'can do' attutude. Moving can be a demanding time, but they have always taken the pressure away from me, I am very grateful as I realise that not everyone is so willing to help these days!

Used Churchill removals a few weeks back to move house. I was very clear that it was a 4 bedroom house with some things in the loft. Moving day came and I was meet with a very unhappy man telling me that he didn't understand why my job had been taken on because they had another big job after me. I said I told his boss that it was a 4 bedroom house and it needed doing before 1. All the time they were there I was told that he shouldn't have taken this job, we're not going to get finished until after 5 etc etc. The boss came down and said that I had 'a lot of stuff' I told him that it was a 4 bedroom house and he had only asked about big things (beds, wardrobes etc). He then started shouting at me saying that the lads had another job and if it was any other firm, they would have just walked away. (If I didn't have until 1 I would have told him to get lost ). He then added an extra £400 ontop of what he had quoted saying that its only fair because I've got a lot of stuff. I didn't have a choice to pay this either. Absolutely disgusting attitude and terrible customer service. I used Churchill because of the reviews but now I'm thinking are they true reviews?Read more

Churchill Removals helped us with a full house move in Sunderland a few weeks ago. The team arrived on time and were so friendly and professional - they even helped dismantle the bunk beds! There ended up being a slight delay with getting our keys, however the lads were happy to wait and once we had them they were at the new house ready to go! The whole team were excellent and made the house move process a breeze - no stress at all! Would highly recommend! Thank you :-)
