We cannot recommend Howarths highly enough . Our move was pretty stressful (aren't they all?) and we were plagued by constantly changing completion dates. Jen was so accommodating and removed all of the stress from the situation. They helped us to pack, and the team did such a brilliant job of moving us on the day. Very respectful to our belongings and very caring throughout the whole process. An absolutely fantastic and professional team. Not a single breakage!

If you want a reliable and dependable, friendly removals firm with invaluable local knowledge who will move your belongings with care and efficiency, who will look after YOU with the same care, battle through ice and snow and a major road closure and do all of this with a smile then look no further.
Jen and the team are wonderful. We cannot thank them enough for going above and beyond to get us to our new home. Howarths Removals of Todmorden are worth every penny.

Incredible company. Jen and the team went out of their way to fit in our move after Christmas. They took great care with our belongings, turned up when expected and did a fantastic job. Excellent value and highly recommended!

I’m not sure where to start - I’d give Howarths 10* if I could! We were given limited notice from the solicitors that we were actually moving (the date had been pencilled in for a while) but when it happened we struggled to find someone to move us at short notice who could accommodate our slightly more than ’standard’ needs - step up Howarths! We didn’t just have to move the house we had 28 koi carp and 3 marine fish tanks to move on the day as well.
From first contact with Jen who manages Howarth’s logistics - she figured out very quickly that I was stressed and made it clear to let them worry about moving our belongings and us worry about other things to the team on the day led by Nick (her husband) and their 2 sons - they were phenomenal, friendly and darned hard working!
Where we moved to is up in the hills, so they had to get us out of our old house on one day with a large removal lorry and then shuttle our belongings to us in smaller vans the next day - nothing was a problem for them.
Quite a few very fragile items were moved such as mirrored wardrobe doors, fish tanks, large TVs, fragile light fittings etc - nothing was damaged and everything was put where we asked the team to at the new house.
I can’t recommend Howarths strongly enough if you want a simple, stress free (well - as stress free as possible) move - go with them!Read more

Would like to say a big thank you to Jen and her team at Howarths Removals, on moving me out of my home, then into storage, and then finding me an alternative removal company to continue onto my new home due to being unavailable.
