I was moving from South Devon to Edinburgh with 4 cats and a dog, so I was extremely stressed!
I got 4 quotes and I chose D&D as I was impressed by Dave’s professional, calm and friendly demeanour.
Having spent 3 months packing my entire life in to boxes, I couldn’t believe that all the furniture and the thousand boxes would fit into 2 Luton vans, but Dave was exactly right and even fitted in many plants and garden pots etc, which I had expected would be left behind.
He and Simon arrived on time with smiles on their faces and just got on with the job.
They were amazing, cheery and very professional. They completely calmed me down with their ‘don’t worry’ attitude and made a stressful situation dissolve.
My stuff arrived safely in Edinburgh the next day with furniture and boxes more or less in the right place!
I definitely recommend Devon and Dorset Removers - they made the whole horror story an absolute pleasure and if I ever gather the strength to move again I would most certainly choose them. Without question 5 stars and huge thanks D&D!Read more

Thoroughly recommend, a great team - professional polite friendly and patient. They loaded rapidly but then our key transfer was delayed until nearly 5pm.They remained really supportive throughout.

I found Devon & Dorset Removals just googling around for a local home-mover, and was encouraged by their existing good ratings and close proximity to my home. From the moment I reached out Dave has been in close contact and has never once left me in the dark wondering about anything from dates they're available to the expected costs involved.
Initially, I hired them to do my house move - 3 people arrived and worked tirelessly to move boxes and furniture to my new place. It's a lot of stairs and a lot of work and they carried it off with good humour.
Later, I hired Dave as a one-off to clear a lot of large cardboard shells that I'd had furniture delivered in since my move and he charged a very sensible fee.
Laterly, I needed a handful of bits done around the house: handy work on my balcony, installing shelves, lifting of heavy boxes up and down stairs and other handy bits I can't manage. Again, they charged a very sensible fee and did everything to a fantastic standard.
For as long as I live here I will use them time and time again when something calls for strong men and tools that I can't do myself!Read more

Dave, Tash and their team made my move seamless and stress free. Nothing phased them and Dave was always very quick to respond and keep me informed clearly of progress. A very professional, slick process throughout. I cannot praise them enough.

Dave, Tash and the team have been incredible help! From moving us out of Bristol to their storage in Devon, taking good care of our belongings for 5 months, and then moving us into our new home - it’s been a seamless and easy process with them! Always quick to respond on text and email, they are flexible, understanding and able to adapt - especially in the world of selling/buying houses when dates are not always certain! A really friendly and trustworthy team who I’d absolutely recommend, I’m chuffed we found them!
