My family and I would recommend Ray Rose for moving and/or house clearance in a heartbeat! They were outstanding from start to finish.
We used Ray Rose removal for house move and subsequent house clearance for my Mum and Dad. I initially spoke to Dan on the phone and arranged the survey for a couple of days later. Dan came over and immediately put my parents at ease. He was open and friendly and understood how big the challenge of moving felt for my parents, while making the logistics of the move seem easy. The quote arrived later and was easy to understand and I confirmed that we wanted to use Ray Rose but had no date. A few days later a healthy amount of packing materials arrived at the house so we could get started. Once I had a date I emailed and had the day confirmed on the next working day. Dan contacted me the day before to confirm and tell me what would happen on the day of the move.
The team arrived at 8am, having called me to check we were ready to go. The lorry arrived with a very friendly team and within a couple of hours, the house that my parents had lived in for 30 years was empty. The team had everything they needed, including tools to work with our furniture, furniture and mattress covers and boxes for hanging clothes . Unloading the van was as easy for us as the load (we moved some cushions and bedding, whilst the team had to take doors off and take windows out and refit to work round the large items - never a worry or chore for the team). The team were efficient and friendly all day. We waved goodbye to the empty truck just before 3pm and Mum and Dad started to get settled with the furniture and boxes already in the right rooms, fridge freezer set up and washing machine ready to go.
The house clearance was equally efficient. The team arrived when they said and cleared what was left really quickly. This included a shed of rubbish that has been open to the elements for at least 10 years, but there were still no complaints or grumbles from the team, who just got on with the job.
I hope we never move again, but if I do, I will not hesitate to work with Ray Rose again. My only regret was not using the cleaning service on move out that can also be added as part of the service!Read more

Honestly could not recommend Dan and his team enough. We had a large 5 bedroom house to pack up, and we paid for the packing service too which was well worth it's value. Dan came to the property himself to quote and provided advice, talking through his process with each room. He is clearly very experienced and no request was too much. He was incredibly helpful and positive throughout, and his team were the same. On the day Dan's team were prompt and got straight to work, methodically and carefully packing everything. We at no point felt stressed with all his help. 100% would recommend.

Dan and his team were faultless. From the estimation he showed how thorough and thought out his service is. We opted for the packing service. It made moving stress free. The speed they packed the house up was truly mind blowing. We moved a 5 bedroom home and nothing was damaged.
Both days Dan and his team arrived promptly and worked tirelessly all day long. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Ray Rose Removals were great from start to finish. Dan was very patient with dates changing until we finally got an agreed removal date. Plenty of packing boxes and materials were dropped round plus extra materials dropped in quickly when we neeeded them.
The team on the day were superb, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, despite it being a very hot day. Everything moved efficiently and nothing at all damaged despite my amateur packing skills.
Highly recommend them!

Ray Rose Removals stepped in and accommadated us at very short notice. Dan came and gave us a reasonable quote, and we felt very confident that they would do a good job. Dan popped back with some boxes and tape free of charge.. a nice touch and great they are into reusing packing materials! Dan and his team did a fantastic job from start to finish and made the job look easy. They handled everything with care and precision. We would not hesitate in recommending Ray Rose Removals. Ray Rose Removals were amazing!! They took the stress out of moving on the day; nothing was too much trouble. The team of lads were efficient, professional and friendly. Money well spent! Dan from Ray Rose Removals took the time to come out see my property before the move, to accurately assess what was needed in terms of man power and vehicles. They even took all our hanging clothes out of all our cupboards for us and hung them in wardrobe boxes. Much care was taken to ensure everything was packed securely on the vans. They supplied extra boxes on the day and helped packed things I hadn’t managed to do. They had special zip cases to cover our mattresses to keep them clean. They supported us by advising us to tell them what we wanted off first and ensured that was put on the van last. They had a brilliant system for placing all the boxes and bags into the correct rooms and even fixed a drawer that I had broken.
