I’ve paid over £5,000 for the services of Eagle Removals and I’m now having to take them to court due to their failure to resolve the issues they created.
BE WARNED!!!
I moved house mid-August 2022 and Eagle Removals removed and stored all my items until my new house was ready on 31st October.
We had a number of issues with failure to fulfil the contract, damages, missing items and things arriving just dirty following their inadequate storage. All of these issues were flagged on the moving day and were acknowledged and accepted by Eagle Removals as being their fault and that they would rectify them.
I’ve been chasing since to get a resolution and have either been ignored or given false promises and they have failed to resolve any of the issues. I have tried calling (they never answer) and left messages, sent emails and also sent text messages. Ironically in their few responses they acknowledged that their “communication has not been good enough”.
At the start of 2023 (a more than reasonable amount of time) I advised that either I’m compensated financially or I’ll have to go down the legal route. NO RESPONSE.
I sent a 14 day ‘letter before court action’ and detailed all the issues and a timeline of events since I moved in. I sent a letter to the office and the home of the director. NO RESPONSE.
So as of today I have logged a claim with the small claims court to seek financial compensation for their failures.
Over £5,000 paid and this is how I’m treated.
