Disappointing Service - Poor Packaging Led to Damaged Goods
I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Humphreys Removals was so frustrating that I feel compelled to share it.
I recently used Humphreys Removals for a delivery abroad, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience. While the delivery was on time, the lack of care taken in packaging my goods was evident and resulted in damage to several items.
The packaging was subpar at best—the most valuable item, an antique chest was not wrapped or boxed, but simply draped in a blanket resulting in irreparable damage as a result on arrival at the destination. It's clear that no attention was given to the safe transportation of this very valuable and cherished heirloom, and this lack of professionalism is unacceptable.
I understand that accidents can happen, but the company's failure to ensure proper packaging indicates a lack of commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. I’ve tried reaching out to the Director [Name removed by Sirelo], but his response has been painfully evasive, and dishonest.
To be told that their staff are very experienced and have had no problems before, is both patronising and insulting.
Given this experience, I cannot recommend Humphreys Removals. If you're looking for a shipping service that values the safe handling of your items, I suggest you look elsewhere.Read more
