We recently used L&P removals to move house. We obtained quotes from several companies, and price wise they were somewhere in the middle. What drew us to them was Ben’s can do attitude and him being so kind, calm and understanding when our conveyancers were not being remotely reliable. He also said more than once “I see no problems here” when coming to the house to give the quote - an attitude which clearly the whole team have.
We used the full packing service and had two members of the team pack up our house the day before the move. They are experts in what they do - everything was packed carefully and labelled well and they were so aware of leaving out anything we might need for that day/the following morning. They even checked if we were happy with where they had left boxes and asked if we wanted anything to be moved for our last evening in the house.
We then had a team of 3 the following day to actually move us - and again, were impressed with every aspect. Ben and his team have a very calm and positive attitude and made what is potentially a very stressful time, as easy as possible. Absolute 5 star service. Thank you!Read more

Ben and his team are amazing. Not just totally professional but also very thorough and careful and amiable. Every item is carefully wrapped, all boxes are carefully labelled and everything checked to ensure that nothing is left behind.
Ben moved us from our old house into our new house and it took quite a long time to unpack but they didn’t complain! They just got on with the job of unloading our possessions and making sure they were put exactly where we wanted them.
I have used Ben on several occasions - not just to move home but to move furniture from one room to another.
No job is too small for Ben and his team - no job is too big.
We can’t recommend more highly.

I can’t thank L&P Removals enough for their incredible help! As a single mum with a 16- week-old baby, I was told I had just the weekend to move home. To say I was stressed is an understatement. Dan, Jamie, and Dean stepped in at the very last minute and made what could have been a nightmare so much easier.
They were the kindest, most caring workmen I’ve ever met! Nothing was too much trouble, and they treated me and my belongings with genuine care and respect. Their professionalism, patience, and willingness to go above and beyond really meant the world to me during such a difficult time.

L & P provided an excellent service moving us from Hertfordshire to York, at a competitive price. Ben and his team were courteous, caring, and went out of their way to ensure we were happy - for example by trying heavy furniture in different locations. We only received their invoice, and thus could pay them, the day before the scheduled move, which was slightly unnerving, but Ben was as good as his word and utterly reliable in our experience.His ability to back their large lorry into our tight gateway in York was awesome!

Polite, friendly, competitively priced and super efficient.
Ben and his team moved us and our 55 yr old car to Frinton On Sea. No problems, no issues and a smooth stress free process - perfect!
