TL;DR - If you’re moving in London, use Mooving On London. Secondly, sign up for their packing service.

Our friend, who recently moved, recommended Mooving On London. We’ve used different movers in the past and have had mixed experiences; some good, one awful.
The Mooving On team (overall) seems to hit the sweet spot in terms of size and culture. The team is bigger than a 1-2 person operation, so they’ve got enough scale that they’ve put in things like a video assessment (to take note of how much they’ll be moving), but small enough that management seems to know each of their movers personally (this seems to have translated into all three movers exercising a greater level of care through the process).
On the packing service, we initially went back and forth on whether to pack things ourselves or just have Mooving On do it. In the end, we asked them to pack everything and it was 100% worth it. Three guys packed up a 2-bedroom flat in 3-4 hours.
They’re definitely our go-to moving service moving forward, and the one we’ll recommend to all our friends.Read more

It is the second time we used Mooving on (first time was in 2022, and we were very pleased, they had gone the extra mile in many ways). The team was largely the same.
The move wasn't off to a brilliant start when the team packed all the shoes and coats left in the entrance without checking we had saved spare ones to use that day (we hadn't).
They refused to accommodate our request to break the shipment into 2 (there were 2 trucks) to send the first one earlier so we can start unpacking at the new house (a street away from the first one), even as some members of the team said that this should not be an issue.
Less care was applied to the packing than last time: as we unwrapped the crates and boxes, we found a broken clock and some deliberately uncareful choices, such as stacking the full content of a drawer OVER 2 fragile felt hats, or folding in 2 all of our wrapping paper rolls (whilst we were keeping them straight and could easily have carried them ourselves if asked).
As the team left around 5pm, they complained that they 'were up since 5am and exhausted to have moved so much stuff for us'. We were surprised, having done more packing ourselves in advance and seeing that the move in 2022 went to 10pm.
The team having misplaced the screws to our dining table, they said there was no way they would stay longer to find them, and that we'd just have to build the table ourselves - or ask that the team comes back at a later date.
We were clearly stressed on the day and recognise that the team made good efforts not to scratch the floor and walls of our new property (only a couple of wall damages were noted). Two members of the team even went the extra mile to help as a 'made to measure' furniture didn't fit. But the attitude at times disappointed us and as a result we would think twice about using the company again.Read more

They were highly professional, considerate, reasonable and timely with the move. Packed and unpacked and reassembled the furniture. Would highly recommend as they provided a top notch service. Would certainly use them again

Really happy I chose Mooving On for moving flat. They came
recommended, and were very competitively priced too. The move itself was as stress-free as it could have been thanks to Ciprian and Marian doing an absolutely brilliant job. They were lightning quick with packing and loading, careful with my possessions, friendly and polite, and always checked if they weren't sure about what was being packed or where it would go in the new place. Huge thanks to them both!
Communication with the office in getting everything ready was also very smooth - replies were always very quick and thorough.
Strongly recommended for moving house, and will use Moving On again.

Excellent service from Daniel and his whole team. They arrived exactly on time, asked for a tour of our home then packed and moved everything with great care and detail, and every box was labelled and put in the matching room on the other side. We were so impressed with their positive energy and efficiency, they were really a pleasure to work with all day. We have mostly unpacked and nothing broken or damaged. I highly recommend them and we would definitely use them again.
