We chose Craig and his team at Orwell Removals based on the positive reviews online. We were NOT disappointed! They showed total professionalism moving the contents of our home by turning up on time (in fact early), and wrapping and moving our furniture carefully. They were a personable bunch that made the whole stressful experience easier. Recommend them 100%.

Massive thanks to Craig and his team! We couldn’t have asked for a better removals team to help us move house in November. From start to finish, they were absolutely outstanding—true professionals in every sense of the word. They arrived on time, worked tirelessly with a smile, and handled everything with such care and attention to detail.
We were nervous after reading one negative review but decided to book despite this after reading their reply to said review - I want to emphasise that every item, from our heaviest furniture to the most delicate breakables, was moved with precision, care and respect. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was safely packed, loaded, and unloaded without a scratch. Their efficiency and expertise took so much stress out of what could have been a chaotic day.
What really stood out was their friendly, can-do attitude. Nothing was too much trouble, and they really seemed to care about getting everything just right. It was such a relief to feel in such capable hands - we couldn't believe how quickly our house was emptied!

Terrible, avoid like the plague!!
Owner was very charming in person and gave a good quote, but became increasingly rude when we spoke to him on the phone after agreeing to use them. Owner indicated late in the evening the night before we exchanged contracts that Orwell did not have the availability to move us, having agreed this date the same day, and in a frankly bizarre series of text messages exchanged, withdrew Orwell's offer to move us. We had offered to pay 50% deposit and asked for bank details to arrange transfer which the Owner had requested, but the owner refused to give this and became evasive.
Do not use this company - they left us high and dry. Unbelievable levels of unprofessionalism.

Excellent Service, very happy with the service I received.
Craig and Phil know their stuff they got the massive 3 seater sofa in through a very narrow stair case as well as a cupboard too. They made sure that my stuff was protected all the way through the process and they also checked in with me if I was happy with the service at the end.
I highly recommend them, infact if I was to move again I would be using Orwell removers again.

Great removals service by Craig and the team. Did exactly as promised, and in a calm, careful, polite and professional way( with efficiency and humour). Moving house is not easy but these guys did a great job in helping as best they could to make it smooth, thank you. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent service
We have used these guys twice now and couldn’t be more grateful or happy with the quality, professionalism and efficiency of their service.
I always view Google reviews with some skepticism, as my wife says there are people who will give the Ritz a bad review.
That said I will nonetheless wholeheartedly recommend these guys to anyone who wants a stress free and efficient move!
