We used GB Liners for our move to Edinburgh from Manchester. The team were Wayne, AJ & Gary. The process was very easy from start to finish and the guys were super on the moving days.
We had a bit of an issue with our onward purchase and John (Altrincham office) helped sort out a solution with their Edinburgh office and local team. We were in a bit of a tight spot but the guys were fantastic. Honestly wouldn’t use anyone else now and would only recommend these guys to friends and family.
Top class customer service which shouldn’t go unnoticed!

I used the Manchester branch for my move to Portugal. From the first contact everything was professional and friendly. The actual move was made easy by their knowledge of the Customs requirements and the professionalism and hard work of the packing and delivery teams. The Office kept me fully informed throughout the whole move.

AJ and John were brilliant and a huge help in our move. We had a few delays on the day which they were really flexible with. I made an enquiry and was contacted the next day, Jonathan did the quote for us and he was excellent! We managed to secure our day with 8 days notice and the move was spread across 2 days. I’d certainly move with GB liners again!

I can't comment on the actual service because I haven't used them myself, but I live on a very windy cul de sac with 90 degree turns called Lakeland Gardens, where there are cars parked on each side of the road at intervals, and I have just observed the most extraordinary manoeuvres by a massive truck from this company. I mean... If the service is anything like the feats I have just witnessed, then definitely 5 stars. Also that driver needs a raise because I don't even like driving down my street in a hatchback.

I entrusted GB Liners with our international move from Wigan, UK, to Saskatchewan, Canada, in August 2024. Given my stellar ability to underestimate just how much stuff we actually own (who knew we had so many boxes?) there was a bit of confusion during the quotation process. Thankfully, GB Liners spotted my mistake before we ended up with half our belongings stranded in Wigan. A second consultation sorted everything out with minimal fuss crisis averted!
On moving day, GB Liners arrived as planned, packed everything up with care, and got it on its way. My dad and brother were there to oversee the operation, and they were seriously impressed, though I think they just enjoyed watching someone else do the heavy lifting for once.
Shipping took a little longer than expected, but that was out of GB Liners' control. To their credit, they kept me updated throughout, which is more than I can say for most delivery services (looking at you, mystery parcels that vanish into the abyss).
Our container took the scenic route, arriving in Montreal, then chugging across to Vancouver by train before finally making its way to Saskatoon by wagon. Our belongings have now officially seen more of Canada than we have! But most importantly, everything arrived safe and sound. GB Liners’ international partners on this side of the pond were just as efficient and friendly, making the final delivery smooth and stress-free.

Everyone I interacted with at the GB Liner’s Manchester site was amazing! Dave who did our quote was really friendly & helpful, Joanne in the office was amazing in helping us when we were having so many issues getting a set moving date and Ian, Rob & the rest of the team did a fab job with the move itself! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!
