I can't comment on the actual service because I haven't used them myself, but I live on a very windy cul de sac with 90 degree turns called Lakeland Gardens, where there are cars parked on each side of the road at intervals, and I have just observed the most extraordinary manoeuvres by a massive truck from this company. I mean... If the service is anything like the feats I have just witnessed, then definitely 5 stars. Also that driver needs a raise because I don't even like driving down my street in a hatchback.

I entrusted GB Liners with our international move from Wigan, UK, to Saskatchewan, Canada, in August 2024. Given my stellar ability to underestimate just how much stuff we actually own (who knew we had so many boxes?) there was a bit of confusion during the quotation process. Thankfully, GB Liners spotted my mistake before we ended up with half our belongings stranded in Wigan. A second consultation sorted everything out with minimal fuss crisis averted!
On moving day, GB Liners arrived as planned, packed everything up with care, and got it on its way. My dad and brother were there to oversee the operation, and they were seriously impressed, though I think they just enjoyed watching someone else do the heavy lifting for once.
Shipping took a little longer than expected, but that was out of GB Liners' control. To their credit, they kept me updated throughout, which is more than I can say for most delivery services (looking at you, mystery parcels that vanish into the abyss).
Our container took the scenic route, arriving in Montreal, then chugging across to Vancouver by train before finally making its way to Saskatoon by wagon. Our belongings have now officially seen more of Canada than we have! But most importantly, everything arrived safe and sound. GB Liners’ international partners on this side of the pond were just as efficient and friendly, making the final delivery smooth and stress-free.

Everyone I interacted with at the GB Liner’s Manchester site was amazing! Dave who did our quote was really friendly & helpful, Joanne in the office was amazing in helping us when we were having so many issues getting a set moving date and Ian, Rob & the rest of the team did a fab job with the move itself! I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

Really pleased with the whole service. We used the Manchester office with the move from Lancashire to Aberdeenshire. Johnathan came to survey the house and continued to help me with queries about things I wasn’t sure about. Carol kept me up to date with the organisational side of things.
On the move out day, Kyle, Ashley and Andy worked like Trojans to pack all our stuff. A lot of care was taken packing the truck and a few things that needed extra care. The weather was miserable yet they managed to stay cheerful.
The next day was unloading day, just Kyle & Ashley for this part. Again, they worked so hard they were finished quicker than we expected. They went the extra mile for us, even moving an old sofa out of a room. I really can’t fault them.
I’d have no qualms about recommending GB Liners. I’m hoping not to have to move again but if I were to, I’d use them again. Good value for money, not the cheapest of the quotes I got but certainly nowhere near the most expensive.

Josh & Dan did our removal. They worked really well together as a team, and were hardworking. They paid attention to what we wanted, were very helpful and went over and above in getting everything sorted. There was no breakages or damage to any of our belongings. We were very happy with the move.
Everyone I dealt with back at the office during the whole process was both supportive and helpful, always available to take my calls and deal with issues that arose during the process.

The happy team at GB LINERS helped to ease the enormous stress I had been under for several weeks prior to emigrating.
From the Office Staff at Manchester , Joanne and Carol, the valuation officer, Johnathan and the team of removal operatives Ian, John, Josh, & Dan they ensured everything ran smoothly. They went above and beyond by returning the next day for two BIG boxes of photos that I had overlooked for my inventory. ( hidden away at back of stairs)
Certainly recommend this brilliant TEAM.
