My advice - Avoid! Goods collected November 2023 (Gibraltar) received them March 2024 (UK), permanently lied to during communications with no one taking any accountability, I researched delays myself which made me very nervous. Some items eventually received were damaged even down to making a claim has been horrendous being advised a claim was initiated to find out it hadn’t until recently. Please research who you use, my personal experience has been a joke and I’ve been treated like a joke, I have never been treated like a paying customer. (Bishops Move before you reply with your excuses of there were Storms, there was this and that we both know and understand there was more to said delays) Just putting it out there.
Delivery Drivers were amazing only benefit to the company

We used Bishops move back in June!, we were moving from Spain to Cyprus. What a complete living nightmare from start to finish. We was told it would be no longer than 3 weeks door to door. However 13 weeks later we were still waiting, the office in Gibraltar failed to respond to any of our emails and phone calls. My wife was stressed more than when we had our first child! For 13 weeks we had no furniture ( bed sofa etc) and ended up renting an apartment which cost us over €4000. Finally it arrived and we had damage to furniture a €3,700 Tempur mattress and legs missing to the bed.
We paid over €600 in insurance but after countless emails and phone calls we got nowhere!!
Please do not use this company!! moving house is stressful! But moving countries is even more so especially with this bunch of cowboys. A special shout out to [Names removed by Sirelo] who were absolutely useless!!

Horrendous...it is masterminded by [Name removed by Sirelo], a fraudster from 16a Maidenway Road Paignton...once they had our furniture they charged an extra £5000 to deliver it, but in fact they are not a removal company, they have no assets and no vans. They refused to tell us where our belongings were and played games with us for over 6 weeks in order to get further money from us. They eventually arranged delivery through a third party, another bunch of fraudsters from Poland who told us they had never heard of Bishop Moving Ltd. It's all a big scam to extort money. Goods eventually arrived with many of them damaged. No insurance. They are under investigation by the police in the UK

they asked me to pay in advance in full. the day of the move two people from Rumania with no english speaking skills came in an unidentified truck with no company papers or personal indentifications
i stopped the move based on the high risk with this scam company and they kept my money and disapear. I have an number of email exchanged with them but they dont answer the phone. The terms and conditions indicated that the cancellation in the same day had a penalty of 120 pounds and they have 3300 pounds of mine with no invoice

After collecting our belongings we were told the van was over weight and asked for another £2000 for an extra van or £1700 to return our belongings back. The initial £2000 we paid for the removals, we were told was non refundable. After paying the additional £2K our belongings arrived in Spain in one van not two as advised. The driver phoned us as we were still travelling at the time to ask for more money to unload as he had been told we had only paid for one person and couldn’t unload it himself, which we didn’t pay. When we arrived and checked our furniture everything piece had been damaged. Despite completing all paperwork for the insurance claim we are still waiting……………

I used Bishops Move International department recently for a work funded transfer (based on the good reputation of their in-county service). I have used various moving companies in the past without issue, but the service from Bishops has been unprofessional and at times even unlawful. Weeks on and most of our home goods are still missing, the response from the company has been defensive and laying blame on us at every opportunity. I even had a vice president shout at me over the phone which lead me to tears. Of the items that have arrived at least one is broken. My advice is to avoid the service at all costs but if you must use them please ensure you have reputable and extensive insurance coverage
