I’ve not shipped to Jamaica but when I do I will use these guys and only these guys. I learned about Carib Ship from their Vibes FM advert. You’ve got to hear it, it’s an absolute banger. I’m not sure who the MC is but his flow is super nice and has a nice cadence. The beat is absolute fire too. I don’t know what marketing genius put this together but they need a raise. Put Vibes FM on and wait for some adverts you won’t be disappointed.

I won’t ever use Carib Shipping again and cannot recommend them. I almost said services but that would be a gross inaccuracy. They publish indicative port arrival times - meaningless! Before paying to ship with them I asked at every point of contact that by sending over 2 months in advance my barrels would be ready for clearance -100% came each reply. BS and lies lies lies. Every time we their customers ship, the contents are important to us. In my case much of the contents are medical supplies for my Mum following a stroke. They promised the clearance docs would arrive 10 days from the date of their first email - well 6 wks later I call them as I am about to travel only to be told my barrels arrive after the date of my return!!!! I will have the additional expense of return travel to clear and of course addition port storage fees. I got a defensive antagonistic probably low paid gatekeeper actively defending the indefensible. Very good business. I sent my barrel for delivery to jamaica over the Xmas, which was very risky considering season we were approaching. They were very helpful, realistic in terms of delivery time. We got our barrel one week after Xmas holiday delivered to our door. It would of been delivered sooner however we landed on 23rd and had to take bank holiday into account.

So many mistakes, lack of communication and lies and lack of transparency. My third time using this company. The barrell was collected 18th December for 20th Shipping. It did not leave until 12th January. Then when I asked for Bill of Laden was told they couldn't find the Barrell which was due to the fact it hadn't been shipped. Disgusting Customer service, so many mistakes, lies and lack of transparency. Once the barrell arrived, half the contents were missing. I will never use this company again. Their attitude is too lapsidaisical and unprofessional.

The first of about 3 or 4 crates that we are sending to Nevis arrived ahead of the scheduled time and with real efficiency of email and phone communications with Carib Shipping in Beckenham and their agents in the West Indies. We are based in Newcastle upon Tyne so we took the crate to them in one of our vans. The drop off at their depot was fast and their people friendly and efficient. I think they are excellent.
