What can I say. Sensible and professional beyond belief. They turned up as removals and I feel left as friends. They will always be welcome for a cuppa and a bacon buttty if they are nearby.

Claudia and Andrew are total professionals. They helped me to organise the removal of all my parents' possesions from the UK to Spain. They are knowledgable about customs and all the added red tape that Brexit has brought. They are friendly, careful and efficient and I would highly recommend 1066 Removals for international removals. We will certainly use them again next time we move house.

Superb service at a very competitive price. Their impressive 'can do' attitude was very refreshing compared to other removal companies that quoted for us. The friendly professional staff made the whole experience much less stressful than it could have been. In fact their cheerful attitude made the move a pleasure rather than a chore. I called this company when someone recommended them to me as I needed removal and storage.
When I called I asked if they could fit me on on a particular date, they said it was possible to move me on this date and store my items.
I waited a week for them to come and give me a quote for moving me and storage. When Claudia arrived she was friendly and stated they would be happy to move me from my location (which was 33 miles from Bexhill) and store my goods for as long as I needed.
When I asked if she could definitely be able to move me on the date requested (as I only had two weeks prior to moving), she said ' that it was in the diary and she wouldn't have travelled this far to quote if it wasn't possible' she also stated that she has 20 quotes to do, but as I was only 1 of 3 who had actually exchanged, that she would send over the quote on the Monday or Tuesday as I was at the top of the list.
On Wednesday late afternoon I still had not received the quote, so decided I would call them to find out when I could expect to receive my quote. When I called I had to leave an answerphone message as no one answsered.
At 6pm on Wednesday evening they sent me an email advising me (this is their actual email 'I write as unfortunately we have taken lots of bookings early this week and we are unable to provide you with our services for the 12th, We are really sorry and understand that this may be very disappointing for you, I hope that you are able to find a company that can help you'
Disappointed is an understatement, why did they not say when I called originally they could not move me on the date requested, I certainly wouldn't have waited a week and a half for them to send me an email stating they cannot help me. This leaves me with only a week to find another company who can help to move and store my items.
Moving is a stressful time as it is with lots of pressure, so finding out a week before moving that you do not have a mover or storage company only adds to the stress.
I definitely will not be recommending this company to anyone!Read more
