Underhanded, fraudulent business practices, unprofessional staff who lack conflict resolution skills. Hired them to move from Liverpool to Brussels. Had 9m3 of belongings, not the cheapest at 2.3k, but agreed, paid in full, in advance. [Name removed by Sirelo], our contact person, immediately pushed for 18m3. We explained that we have done multiple international moves, last one being months before so we are well versed in measuring our belongings, and were certain this was accurate.
[Name removed by Sirelo], the driver shows up, loads the truck. It is an 18cm3 truck, (minus 2m3 account for the sleeper cab that takes up some of the space in the box) [Name removed by Sirelo] tells us we have 18cm3, pushing for the 18m3 again. I tell him that in order for it to be 18m3, the truck would have to be filled top to bottom, front to back, which it was not.
After about an hour on the road, [Name removed by Sirelo] contacts us, tells us we have 18cm3 and now are required to pay another £400, now giving them precedence to hold our belongings hostage until the amount is paid, as [Name removed by Sirelo] had repeated to us on several occasions, and was clearly stated on the contract. My wife and I discussed this in French in the truck, and we were not pleased as we now realized the position we’ve been put in. [Name removed by Sirelo] who is Romanian, understood French perfectly, despite us asking him, and him lying to us. ([Name removed by Sirelo] made reference to a conversation i had with our new landlord in french, which clearly demonstrated fluency, and that he lied.) He relayed our disdain back to [Name removed by Sirelo]. My wife and I discussed in French that we are not going to pay this amount because we measured all our boxes and were 100% sure of the volume. A few hours later, [Names removed by Sirelo] have a phone conversation concerning our disdain, and how much extra they think they can get us to pay, (conversation recorded and translated). [Name removed by Sirelo] passes the phone to my wife, where [Name removed by Sirelo] tells us we can pay the 400 in € instead of £. When we get off the phone, I tell my wife in French that this is still not acceptable. [Name removed by Sirelo] drops us at our location, but had to unload the next morning. [Name removed by Sirelo] sleeps in his truck. The next morning I call [Name removed by Sirelo]. He agreed with me that we did have 9m3, yet still wanted more money. In realization that they still had our belongings I offered him 100 euros, but he went further and counter offered at 150, for an overage he just agreed was unjustified.
[Name removed by Sirelo] showed up 4 hours late to unload. [Name removed by Sirelo] gave us the responsibility of calling [Name removed by Sirelo] to attempt to wake him as he is a heavy sleeper and is sleeping in his truck!? Wholly unprofessional.
[Name removed by Sirelo] broke a 120 year old wood door in front of our new landlord by slamming his 300lbs into it to to open it, and damaged a brand new couch that had to be pried out of the truck.
This company attempted to charge us £2734 to move 9m3 457 miles. This is excessive seeing as how Mr.[Name removed by Sirelo] (check the reviews), a previous client, was charged £2600 to move the same amount of goods 1530 miles, a few months earlier. [Name removed by Sirelo] deflected from all concerns, gave us the most asinine of excuses, threatened a breakdown in negotiations should I contact previous clients, and then simply claimed to be confused about what the issue was.
[Name removed by Sirelo] mentioned that they do charge for the space our goods take up, as well as the space between our boxes, hence they will charge for the full capacity of the truck regardless of how much of the truck is filled, but failed to mention this before we made the initial payment in full. When she attempted to change us the extra £400, she told us they charge by volume, not by truck?!?! Playing both sides….
We considered taking them to court. Decide it against it. I have lived on 4 different countries on the planet, never ever had I had to deal with the amount of pettiness, deflection, of small mindedness and mindlessness that I have had to deal with in the UK. The folks that work here are professionals in what would be considered fraudulent and illegal business practices in most other countries. It will be interesting to see how this review will be deflected and minimized further….Read more

If you are looking for a way to try out life without your belongings for an unspecified amount of time, and would like your move to come spiced with constant surprises around every corner, then look no further than Came-Ro.
It is somewhat challenging to summarise our three-month dealings with them in a brief review, but for the benefits of posterity, and potential future customers, I'll attempt a recap of the salient facts.
We needed to organise the removal of our belongings from our one-bedroom flat in the UK to Italy. After getting a few quotes and checking all sorts of details with various companies we decided to go with Came-Ro based on the positive reviews we had read everywhere and their prompt and friendly communication.
-We booked them for the 25th August for packing and collection of our things. On the 24th August I asked when they were going to come the next day, and I was told they would email on the day with their arrival time. On the day, they emailed saying they would come at 2.30 pm. When we called them to ask if they were aware they were also supposed to pack everything, we were assured 'the guys know what they are doing'. They did arrive at 2.30 pm and naturally were unable to pack everything in one afternoon, so had to come back the next day, book an emergency van and accommodation for themselves for the night.
After being told our belongings would arrive in 7-14 days, we were left in a limbo for about a month and a half. Their replies by email were polite but maddeningly vague, and by phone verging on the incomprehensible. Around the 10th October they finally arrived. When they unloaded our stuff (from a truck which contained at least two other removals, and with one of our bookcases being broken) we realised it was nowhere near everything. They had only delivered our furniture but almost none of our boxes. When we protested, we were first flatly told that it was indeed everything, and only after we insisted they investigated and realised they had left behind everything they had packed on the first day. We were assured this would be with us in - yes, you guessed it: 7-14 days; and yes, you guessed it: it turned up after another month and a half of uncertainties and incomprehensible and vague replies, and extra money having to be spent on the extra van.
The hot August weather had turned into late November iciness by the time we finally received our coats, jumpers, etc. To be really fair, and despite everything, we don't believe they are a scam company, but they are extremely cheaply run and if something goes wrong, good luck to you all.Read more

1. CAME-RO was late on the pick-up day and arrived at our house at 11 PM - justified it by a track having an accident.
2. We were waiting almost 8 weeks for the delivery of our boxes - they justified it by having logistics issues - I understand that the situation sometimes might be difficult; we waited patiently - the CAME-RO customer service was responsive but never took the initiative to contact us first – only if we confronted them about any listed here issue they would talk to us.
3. We didn't get informed which day the delivery was scheduled, and the track appeared out of blue on Monday at 11 AM. On a typical week, no one would be in the household at this hour. No email was sent - we were checking our email DAILY - nothing has been sent by CAME-RO.
4. Last but SURELY not least, our TWO out of 33 BOXES WERE LOST and not delivered! Instead, they attempted to give us somebody else's boxes. We spotted it, rejected two (not our boxes) and signed a statement with the delivery worker that our goods are missing. TWO WEEKS HAVE PASSED AND NO ONE CONTACTED US TO INFORM US IF OUR BOXES WERE FOUND OR NOT!! I THINK ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Two lost boxes were one of the most valuable: PC Screen, Headphones, Cables… a total worth of + £500… I DEMAND ACTIONS OR A REFUND. Let’s be honest, if I was offered somebody else’s boxes, it means mine was also given to someone else – they are GONE.
If not lost boxes, I would give you 3-4 out of 5 stars as you tried your best, unfortunately, we’ve been let down on any possible area by CAME-RO.Read more
