Further much of my antique furniture was damaged, scratched, chipped and had corners and panels missing. One of the removals men appeared to get a thrill out of damaging my furniture and the walls. He even laid my leather sofa top side up on the outside asphalt thereby scuffling the leather. Their insurers paid a measly amount. However Direct Removals refused to pay their porton of £250. Refusal to pay for the insurance deductable that their insurer did not cover though clients pay thousands they have the nerve to not pay the £250 insurance deductable.
