Collected a brand new made to measure handmade item of furniture in perfect condition on 30th April and delivered to customer on 2nd May smashed and damaged and said it was like that when they collected!! Customer refused delivery and I had to refund her over £1000 for a piece that was made to her customisation. I have photographic evidence from myself and from the driver who collected it that it was in perfect condition. The customer has wrote ME a one star review advising people to stay well away and that WE are dreadful! This was, and is completely Proovias fault.

They have tarnished our excellent name and reputation.

Over 4 weeks later (4th June) they have still not returned the piece to me and all you get are automated email replies or told no manager or complaints department in the office today when you phone.
I have contacted them every day! I booked using the premium service that states insured up to full market value. I’ve had no compensation, no return of goods and no refund on the delivery cost that they charged me and no payment for the item they have kept. Overall total cost £1138.62.. It’s dreadful business strategy, dreadful drivers that are not carful as advertised, dreadful customer service, dreadful complaints procedure, dreadful aftercare and to add to it THEFT. They do not care and the insurance they offer is not worth the screen it’s typed on. We are a small business and to loose over a £1000 has hit us hard when we spent out on wages and materials to build a bespoke piece. I can not believe how they think it’s acceptable to keep my property with out paying for it and they feel they can get away with theft! I don’t even know where my custom made furniture is anymore.

I will NEVER use them again and my next step is to contact the police.
Stay clear of Proovia if you don’t want an item damaged. If you’ve git something that allows it to be knocked around and mishandled then these are your guys. An awful experience that isn’t getting any better…

I had an incredibly frustrating experience dealing with this transit company after they damaged my £4,695 sofa during transport. Despite providing multiple professional restoration quotes, all of which reflected the proper care needed for a high-value item, they repeatedly dismissed them as “too high” without offering a reasonable alternative.
The claims process has been slow and exhausting, with the company insisting on cheaper cleaning options instead of proper restoration. Even after escalating the matter to a supervisor, and then to their Quality Assurance Manager, I have yet to receive a fair resolution.
If you value your belongings, I would strongly advise reconsidering using this company for transit services. Their reluctance to take responsibility for the damage, coupled with their pushback on fair compensation, makes it clear they prioritise cost-cutting over customer satisfaction.
I will be taking further action to ensure my claim is handled properly.

Terrible terrible TERRIBLE customer service. Broke my £1000 cast iron stove in transit and denied all culpability. Refused to compensate which is in breach of customer service rights. How do you break a CAST IRON STOVE just getting it in and out of a van? Wrapped in a threadbare blanket and barely strapped down, the stove installer tells me you would have to drop it from a substantial height and drag it some way across a concrete floor to produce that result. Am furious and will be taking them to small claims court. Am prepared to no stop telling the whole internet until they remedy. What a hassle.

I paid for the insured cover to have a 1940s barrister bookcase delivered to me. The Driver smashed one of the windows and it is proving difficult to get it fixed. Proovia are now not responding to my emails and have so far, not upheld their end of the bargaining by reimbursing me the cost of the item and delivery fee.

The emails say they respond within 24-72 hours but we are now on Day 6 and no reply.
