10Initially, they requoted a much higher figure for a two man team, despite their website saying there would always be two men. In the event only one turned up - with his wife, both of whom were abusive, threatening and incompetent. The delivery was delayed twice because, having agreed to offer morning times to the sender, who had limited availability, they then only offered afternoon times.
Upon arrival, they attempted to park the van in the middle of the street and screamed at anyone trying to get past. No attempt had been made to wrap the parcel - a cabinet of mirrored glass - which arrived with one door badly damaged. They were vile and foul mouthed, aggressively cursing at us and saying it would be impossible to bring the furniture in because it was ‘not a normal house’. I had explained at length with the organiser that it would go down a few steps to the lower ground floor. They rushed it, attempting to bring it down diagonally and caused damage to the bottom this time, causing a big chunk of it to break off. They then refused to deliver it at all, and their abusive yelling brought neighbours out onto the street to see what on earth was going on. Their language was unbelievable, and we felt unsafe. If I had been alone to deal with this, it would have been really nasty.
They eventually brought the damaged item into the kitchen, as planned and paid for, once their supervisor had instructed them too on the phone.
I do not know what we did to deserve their terrible manner, aggression, hostility and scorn, nor the damage done to the furniture entrusted to them. Stay away! They are wreckers.Read more
This company is delivering my parcel for 3 days… 3rd time they changed a delivery day. It’s not normal, they have been using stupid excuses as “we didn’t have your phone number” to make a delivery you don’t need to have a persons number. Avoid them. They are being waste of time if you need your parcel to be delivered quickly, better use someone else
They have tarnished our excellent name and reputation.
Over 4 weeks later (4th June) they have still not returned the piece to me and all you get are automated email replies or told no manager or complaints department in the office today when you phone.
I have contacted them every day! I booked using the premium service that states insured up to full market value. I’ve had no compensation, no return of goods and no refund on the delivery cost that they charged me and no payment for the item they have kept. Overall total cost £1138.62.. It’s dreadful business strategy, dreadful drivers that are not carful as advertised, dreadful customer service, dreadful complaints procedure, dreadful aftercare and to add to it THEFT. They do not care and the insurance they offer is not worth the screen it’s typed on. We are a small business and to loose over a £1000 has hit us hard when we spent out on wages and materials to build a bespoke piece. I can not believe how they think it’s acceptable to keep my property with out paying for it and they feel they can get away with theft! I don’t even know where my custom made furniture is anymore.
I will NEVER use them again and my next step is to contact the police.
Stay clear of Proovia if you don’t want an item damaged. If you’ve git something that allows it to be knocked around and mishandled then these are your guys. An awful experience that isn’t getting any better…

The claims process has been slow and exhausting, with the company insisting on cheaper cleaning options instead of proper restoration. Even after escalating the matter to a supervisor, and then to their Quality Assurance Manager, I have yet to receive a fair resolution.
If you value your belongings, I would strongly advise reconsidering using this company for transit services. Their reluctance to take responsibility for the damage, coupled with their pushback on fair compensation, makes it clear they prioritise cost-cutting over customer satisfaction.
I will be taking further action to ensure my claim is handled properly.
