I had an excellent experience with Jamies Removal assist. Derek did a fantastic job with my house move. He took great care of all my belongings and was right on time. He was extremely courteous and well-informed. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free, ensuring everything was handled with proper care. On top of that, we had an amazing conversation on our way to the destination. Highly recommend their services!

Generally they were the cheapest and friendliest removal company, however..... and I don't say this lightly, my wardrobe has been badly damaged by them. I had my furniture packed up by Jamie's Removals and taken to a storage unit. It was then collected and taken to another storage unit later down from Essex to Cornwall. Today, I went to my unit for the first time to pick up my wardrobe and was shocked to find it so badly scratched and damaged. Screws and wooden pins are missing after they dismantled it. I'm devastated as it was a brand new wardrobe I'd only had a few months before moving. It was clearly not covered when being moved and had been badly scratched by the other screws and items in the van. I'm just sorry I never checked it on the day but to be fair it was pouring with rain and they were moving fast. My huge canvas picture has been damaged by the rain as it was never covered and my superking mattress got soiled during the first move because the right size cover wasn't brought to cover it. But what upsets me the most is the damage to my wardrobe. I have taken photos but there's no platform to upload the damage but it's not repairable.Read more

I moved from Essex to Lincolnshire and Derek and his lads were amazing. The communication leading up to the continued delays from solicitors for completion meant I was constantly having to push the date back. Derek was very patient and understanding. Moving day was excellent. Derek and the lads were early and had the whole house packed up very fast. Unpacking the other end was also as efficient.
I would highly recommend Jamie's Removal Assist. Thanks Derek.

I can't recommend this company enough, they are absolutely amazing, you will not find another removal company as professional, helpful, hardworking, efficent caring, and just outright totally fantastic...
Now I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but in this case, it would of been an absolute crime if I didn't take the time to let people know that they can use this company with 100% confidence...
Now people tell you that moving is one of the most stressful things you can do and I now know that is totally true. But fortunately, after the estate agents recommended this company to us, well Derek was absolutely fantastic and made a very stressful situation so much easier to cope with. He was on hand every step of the way and answered every call my sister made, as having never moved before, we were very stressed and panicked.
Now on the day Derek and his guys arrived exactly when they said they would, which was probably earlier then most people ask to move and let me tell you, they were absolutely worth there weight in gold. They absolutely worked there socks off and totally cleared my home in under two hours. They totally blew me and my sister away with how hard they worked and we've never come across people who worked as hard as these guys, plus they were totally professional and caring to boot...
Well I can honestly say that you will not be disappointed using this company, they went above and beyond to help myself and my sister and I'm 100% sure you will be treated with exactly the same care and attention and you will be as happy as we we're...

I needed house removal service and after leaving my details with an online referral service a very polite Derek Jamie called and went through step by step how he'd assist with my removal and gave me a firm quote on the spot based on what I said needed hauling.
After a review of what I actually had for removal he gave me a £100 discount.
The day started off as promised 0730 promptly and polite friendly staff. The mo e went without a single glitch and the crew remained patient and good.humoured despite the heat and my wife's constant change of mind as to where she wanted this or the other.
Would not hesitate to recommend them. In fact I have a few boxes left to haul and I've already told Derek, who personally rung me whilst on holiday in USA to check on how things went, that I will be booking them again!!
