We opted for a shared load service and first contacted Matthew James in January 2022 . We had researched which company to use and had read the good reviews and saw that they advertised weekly services to Spain. We spent just under £6k with them. We could not fault the service up to and including collection of our possessions - although we were slightly concerned that the Transport Manager himself turned up to load our possessions and told us they had lost 2 drivers and a porter which was why they were short staffed. We did not need our possessions until beginning of August and were in email communication with the company. At no time in all of our communications were we told they would be very busy in August and we would have to wait for delivery. On 4th August we contacted Matthew James to arrange delivery but were met with constant delays never really being given a truthful answer about a delivery date. Eventually our delivery arrived 21st September delivery guys great but also said when talking about delays “oh yes August always like this’. My poor rating is for (1) the delays which we were not told about (2) still paying storage costs whilst they delayed (3) the misleading wording re weekly visits in both website and initial conversations (4) the EXTREME patronising conversations with customer service when I complained (5) I was offered an ex-gratia payment because they admitted they should have provided a better service BUT I would have to sign to say I would not post an adverse review and forgoe any other financial claim (before receiving our furniture !). My key advice would be to bear in mind that if you are reading reviews - there may be several more adverse reviews that people would want to make but couldn’t because they had signed the waiver . Nothing was too much trouble both for pick up in France and drop off in Wales. The men were polite and efficient, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble

September 2019 move to storage from Bexley. September 2020 delivery to Chislehurst.
In this world of such negativity it gives me great pleasure to say something nice about a company who’s services excel your expectations.
I was recommended [name removed by Sirelo] by a friend of mine and from the initial dealings with the office staff, agreeing the quote and making the arrangements, I felt comfortable that I was dealing with a professional outfit.
The packing and wrapping was done by [names removed by Sirelo] who didn’t come up for air except when persuaded to have a cup of tea. They were very respectful and their attention to detail was first class.
A year later our delivery was arranged and a 3 man team (names removed by Sirelo) turned up with our goods and furniture. Again, they were very friendly and worked their socks off! They placed each item in its designated room and couldn’t do enough for us.
Overall, from start to finish we were very impressed and wouldn’t use anybody else if we move again.Read more
