Brilliant service from start to finish. Friendly and professional greeting from Hannah and great communication from Gill in the office. Kate who came out to quote for us was fantastic and very efficient - quote came through really quickly. On the removal day the guys in the vans were also brilliant - got the job done quickly. They threw a second van at the job to get us completed in time. All in all a wonderful service from David Gilkes Removals. This wasn't the first time we've used them and we definitely recommend them and would use them again. Thanks Team Gilkes

So very pleased that we used your company to help us move from Coventry to Dawlish in May over three days. Very very sorry for the late review, we’ve had many problems getting our internet sorted, and only just emptied our last box. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your company. Brilliant from start to finish. Amazing packing, managed to do it so quickly, with such attention to detail and be happy and cheerful throughout.
We moved from a 3 bed house to a 2 bed bungalow together with contents of garage and workshop after 45 years, so much stuff. They were so well at organising everything for us. Couldn’t have done it without them.
Arrived in Dawlish on such a hot day. One problem with a parked car making it difficult to get the van close, but brilliant reversing, problem solved. Awkward steps to access our property with the furniture, so sorry. But you went the extra mile with a smile. All delivered safe n sound. It was so so hot wasn’t it.
We very much appreciate all your hard work and thank you to all for everything

I Moved on the 9/9/24. From talking to the Ladies in the office to arrange removals to the blokes that moved me, my experience was brilliant. I would highly recommend this company for moving and they are fairly priced. My house was emptied and on the 2 vans within 2 1/2 hours and even less time unloading at my new house. I would definitely use this company again and would highly recommend. Thank you to the team for making my move a lot less stressful. 😁

David Gilkes in our view can only get 5 stars, if I could give more I would. First class service from start to finish, a seamless process and such a friendly company. The office team always super helpful. Cost is comparable with the relative other companies you are likely to get quotes from, and in the 4 companies we chose they came out the best value. Moved over 2 days from Rugby to Lincoln. No issues, excellent packing and superb attention to detail with items. The removal teams were always busy and efficient. No damage to items, no scuffs to walls. Great service. No hesitation in recommending this company

A huge thank you to David Gilkes for their shredding service. Excellent value for money and the bags are a far more generous size than companies I've used before. Hannah has been absolutely amazing to deal with. Responsive and professional. They give you loads of time to fill the bags too. They are my go-to shredders and I wouldn't deal with anyone else.

What an absolutely fantastic company. From the surveyor, team in the office & the amazing moving team that got us out of our old home and into our new home.
I cannot recommend them enough, they made one of the most stressful days totally stress free from a moving perspective. They took pretty much everything with ease and did so carefully.
